As a Logistics Management Specialist (Title 32) (Indefinite), GS-0346-11, you will perform the below duties:

1. Serves as the program manager for the Integrated Deployment System (IDS); Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES), Contingency Operations/Mobility Planning and Executive System (COMPES), Logistics Module-Base Level (LOGMOD-B), Automated Air Load Planning System (AALPS), and Cargo Movement Operations System (CMOS). Ensures that all systems interface within IDS. Serves as the subject matter expert for COMPES to assist the Wing Commander and Logistics Officer in selecting, deploying and monitoring contingency forces. Maintains LOGMOD-B and the Logistics Detail (LOGDET) data, assists in designing logistics packages to meet Operation Plans (OPLAN) tasking, and coordinates with tasked units to ensure compliance and accuracy of systems. Oversees the management and production of AALPS products. Provides continuous guidance and instruction to units on COMPES, Logistic Detail-Base Level (LOGDET-B) data and Manpower/ Personnel Module-Base Level (MANPER-B) matters. Coordinates both LOGMOD-B and MANPER-B portions of COMPES for input and processing. Produces COMPES data to support wartime activities and Operations Other Than War (OOTW) required by units to mobilize and deploy equipment and personnel.
2. Formulates and consolidates logistical annexes for IDS guidance based on regulations, manuals, instructions, and directives issued by higher headquarters. During peacetime and at actual and training deployments, provides staff input and participation in the Deployment Control Center (DCC) and may serve as an alternate IDO for deployments. Plans and develops deployment training for the wing and units in addition to conducting training. Ensures the unit meets all pre-execution and command and control requirements for deployments. Analyzes time phased force deployment requirements to develop plan annexes and schedules for inclusion in execution phase of the wing deployment guidance. As directed by, and in conjunction with the Logistics Officer, assists units by providing guidance and performing staff assistance visits to identify, correct, and assist with deployment oriented problems. Reviews deployment assessment capabilities with unit commanders to ensure that required deployment training is being conducted. Plans and briefs the Logistics Officer regarding the movement of personnel and equipment during simulated and actual deployments and exercises.
3. At the direction of and in conjunction with, the Logistics Officer, identifies required deployment/redeployment support with the wing staff, serving as the NCOIC of the Redeployment Assistance Team (RAT), Air Mobility Command (AMC), and Air Combat Command (ACC) for the transportation of equipment and personnel. Determines the type and number of aircraft required for mission deployment/ redeployment. Validates load plans, priority shipments, and customs clearance requirements. Ensures all unit personnel and equipment are properly identified and prepared for deployment/ redeployment. Assists the Logistics Officer with determining the type and number or quantity of troops and equipment available for tasking and schedules via correspondence with headquarters (i.e., ACC, AMC, NGB, ANGRC, and Numbered Air Forces), as applicable to accomplish specific mission requirements.
4. Reviews resource/logistics plans, programs, and deployment activities with the senior officer to insure authorized mobility equipment is available or on order, and assures that the equipment is properly budgeted. In conjunction with the senior officer, develops program priorities and determines dollar requirements. As directed, develops loadplans and analyzes transportation requirements for the wing and units. Schedules all requirements through AMC and MTMC to ensure personnel and equipment arrive according to planned tasking.
5. Reviews OPLANS, Concept Plans (CONPLANS), Concept of Operations (CONOP), USAF Special Operation Plans, Exercise Plans, and Execution Orders for tasking from higher headquarters. Determines availability of personnel and equipment for tasking and manages the War Reserve Material (WRM) assets at home station and deployed locations for units. Analyzes and identifies tasking for logistical shortfalls, limiting factors (LIMFACs) and problems; and compiles and submits to the senior officer for inclusion in the formal supportability/feasibility studies that allows commanders to make vital decisions that affect mission accomplishment. Formulates and prepares logistics annexes and consolidates inputs from all attached units in accordance with all-applicable regulations and directives.
6. Analyzes In-Garrison Expeditionary Site Plans (IGESP) and participates in site surveys to ascertain, identify, and plan airlift and logistical support requirement needs to support and sustain the wing and units.

As a HR SPEC (MIL), GS-0201-09, you will perform the below duties:

1. Serves as advisor to commanders on assigned unit human resources (HR) programs. Interprets policy and provides procedural guidance to commanders, supervisors, and staff members. Provides guidance and assistance on unit program(s) for which responsible. Provides training to supervisors on all military human resources issues. Analyzes data and subsequent determinations regarding any number of human resources matters that may involve or affect AGRs, drill status guardsmen, and/or family members. Advises supervisors or managers within unit when actions may affect productivity or mission. Conducts staff visits and trains personnel (AGRs), traditional drill status guardsmen, supervisors, managers, etc.) within the unit in all programs for which responsible. Conducts periodic briefings for staff, commanders, and administrative personnel to promote a full understanding of all aspects of the assigned program(s). Provides commanders, supervisors, and the MPF staff with a variety statistical data report pertaining to military HR issues to assist in HR management decisions. Accomplishes/oversees the accomplishment of technical support work in each of the functional areas within this program area. Incumbent has responsibility/accountability for assigned program accomplishment personally and through subordinate full-time technicians and/or drill status guardsmen when assigned.
2. Plans, directs, controls and provides advisory services on all aspects of the Career Enhancement program for both Active Guard Reserve (AGR), unit drill status guardsmen, full time technicians and potential members. Develops internal policies and procedures governing administration of the following programs: Officer Performance Report/Enlisted Performance Report (OPR/EPR), and officer, enlisted promotions and enlisted demotions. Monitors monthly reports on performance raters and changes of raters to maintain an accurate record. Provides administrative control, management, development and advisory service for military awards and decorations. Reviews Line of Duty (LOD) determinations for administrative accuracy, tracks progress and initiates incapacitation pay requests (if applicable). Manages and provides guidance and technical expertise of various special programs to include Deserving Airman Promotion Program, Reserve Officers Personnel Management Program, Exceptional Promotion Program, and Extensions/Reenlistment Program. Administers the test program, which includes the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT), Defense Language Aptitude Battery Test (DLAB), Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT), and Air Force Classification Test (AFCT). Monitors the Weight and Body Fat Management Program to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements and conducts staff assistant visits.
3. Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the Customer Service Program. Manages the Air Force Personnel Records System. Develops procedures and establishes policy for building, updating, auditing, and accountability of and disposition of automated and manual records. Monitors the maintenance and security of the Unit Personnel Record Group (UPRG) ensuring content meets regulatory requirements and are safeguarded. Manages the Point Credit Accounting and Reporting System (PCARS) program. Is the focal point within the MPF for various entitlement programs (i.e., TRICARE medical/dental, Survivors Benefit Plan, Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), Family Care Program, etc). Provides assistance and information on active duty benefits for AGR members. Monitors and provides technical guidance to workers performing counseling regarding the Servicemen Group Life Insurance (SGLI) benefits. Responsible for oversight, verification, authorization of identification (ID) cards for all branch service members, retired members, and enrollment of eligible family members in Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS). Administers the Casualty Service Program and serves as technical advisor, and as the Casualty Assistance Representative (CAR). SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The purpose of this position is to analyze malfunctions, troubleshoot, remove, install, repair, modify, maintain, test, align, calibrate and certify the components of the aircraft electrical system the electronically and pneumatically controlled environmental system, and associated test equipment, and to certify these systems are air worthy, by intensive inspections of the Electrical/Electronic and Environmental System and peripherals.

• Performs functional tests, analyzes performance and troubleshoots the electronic, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical functions of the subsystems integrated into the digital brake/antiskid system, maintenance annunciation panel (MAP) system of the integrated main generator, standby generator, emergency generator, flight control power, AC/DC power distribution and sub-systems integrated into the electronic/electrical and environmental systems. • Removes, repairs, calibrates, installs, aligns, inspects, and conducts operational performance checkouts on the components of the electronic/electrical and environmental systems.

Maintains required information assurance certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M, Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002, Clinger Cohen Act of 1996, in order to ensure the rigorous application of information security and information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of all information technology services. Independently oversees installation, configuration, testing, migration, integration, and operation within the network operating environment, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources and minimal service disruptions, and advises customer support specialists, by providing post-implementation support to end-users. Establishes project plans and priorities and coordinates with appropriate personnel to carry out the plans. Provides guidance to subordinates on the development of complex project plan tasks and timeliness. Provides detailed information regarding all technical aspects of equipment, software, and systems. As an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN), GS-2210-12, you will develop, modifie, and test overall system backup and recovery strategies for all systems. Serve as the technical expert and focal point for installation, configuration and testing of hardware and software associated with multiple operating systems and computer platforms. Provide technical assistance and analysis to other IT personnel involved in system design, programming, database performance, and adapting commercially available software. Determine equipment requirements, communications, and interfaces with other systems. Evaluate machine usage based on current usage patterns and develops plans for the acquisition of hardware and software needed to support future IT requirements. As an Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic, WG-5306-10, you will develop, established and maintain work center training programs. Plans and schedules tasks and training activities for drill status guard members. Oversees and conducts on-the-job training (OJT) for personnel. Creates and develops lesson plans. Ensures availability of facilities and training aids. Monitors the training status of personnel and ensures that supplemental and/or remedial training is accomplished. Incumbent is responsible for mobilization readiness of section personnel and equipment. Responsible for unit wide operator training programs for selected equipment (e.g. generator operator training). PHYSICAL EFFORT: Physical effort involves stooping, bending, stretching, standing, climbing, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Requires moderate to strenuous physical exertion including pushing and shoving of wheeled equipment. Lifts heavy equipment and components weighing up to 40 pounds and with assistance, lifts items weighing over 40 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Works inside and outside, in inclement weather, on icy, wet and slippery surfaces and work areas, and in temperature and humidity extremes. Subject to the dangers from toxic fumes, oil, heat, fluids, shock, high noise level, possible cuts, abrasions and burns, extremely low temperature cryogenic liquids and extremely high air pressures while repairing, adjusting, positioning, or moving equipment. Oversees the development and effective implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all areas of responsibility; and ensures that training needs are planned and implemented on a timely basis to meet constantly changing policy and procedures. Provides expert interpretation on regulatory and administrative guidelines in accordance with generally accepted principles relating to a wide spectrum support operation. Ensures readiness of personnel in support of contingencies, exercises, and wartime tasking. Focal point for all aspects of readiness, base deployment plans, Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP), and emergency action plans.

Conducts analysis to determine the effectiveness of operations, compliance with established policies and procedures, reliability of transactions and validity of supporting documentation. Manages the review of a variety of policies, guidelines, data, documents, reports, processes, and procedures to determine trends and data integrity. Identifies actual and potential problem areas and develops actions and tasking to improve operations, correct deficiencies and resolve all discrepancies, differences and problems posed by internal and external sources. Executes policy made at higher levels and provides policy, administrative and technical guidance. Coordinates and participates in the development and presentation of policy and execution training for customers and staff. Incorporates new ideas and methodologies and applies new and innovative practices as appropriate.

Implements the organization's self-inspection program; reviews formal inspection reports, audits, complaints, and other reports to ensure adverse findings are addressed/corrected within the allotted time frame. Directs self-assessment activities of subordinate supervisors. Evaluates unit programs to ensure compliance and performs as the squadron focal point for major inspections. Directs the preparation, analysis, reconciliation, consolidation, and submission of all required reports within established deadlines to higher level management. Monitors the organization's internal metrics and other performance measurement indicators.

Participates in formal and informal management planning, policy and decision-making sessions. Participates in conferences, workshops and other meetings with key personnel concerning Force Support matters involving the changing of mission requirements, new laws and/or directives.

As a MACHINIST, WG-3414-12, you will plan and lay out work to be accomplished in the shop which is then completed by the technician and lower graded machinist(s). Determine approaches, methods, and courses of action required to accomplish the mission of the shop in an effective and efficient manner. Independently determine appropriate maintenance procedures. Estimate time, equipment, and material requirements. Devise and maintains plans and records. May provide recommendations and input to supervisor concerning personnel actions such as performance appraisals, awards, position description changes, disciplinary actions, and leave.

Supervisor provides general instructions, time frames, policies, and priorities; is available for technical guidance and assistance on unusual or controversial problems; and relies on the incumbent to control work operations and accomplish adequate quantity and quality of work. Incumbent determines approaches, methods, and courses of action required to accomplish the mission of the shop in an effective and efficient manner. Work is reviewed for efficient and economical accomplishment within priorities and control received. Other duties as assigned.

As an IT SPECIALIST (CUST SPT), GS-2210-11, you will perform developmental assignments. Perform moderately difficult and complex assignments consisting of well-precedented tasks to further orient the employee in the application of occupational principles, methods, and techniques. Assignments are combined with training to develop analytical skills and techniques used to resolve issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature. Manages the assigned IT/communications environment with privileged access at the network level for the Wing, Geographically Separated Units (GSU), and Tenants. Plan, coordinate, install, and continuously analyzes system design, hardware and software. Develop, recommend, and install solutions and upgrades to ensure availability, integrity, efficiency, and reliability of all components of the assigned system. Provide Information Assurance systems support for all disciplines, ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services. Perform system audits to assess security parameters and performance of IA controls within the network environment. Other duties as assigned.
