About the role

As a SEN Secondary Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of KS3 and 4 curricula in ways that maximises pupil's achievement and ability to develop.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, passionate and committed SEN Primary Teacher to join our educational team and to help deliver an outstanding curriculum, motivate the pupils and achieve positive outcomes for our young people.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people with a range of complex learning needs. You will be able to demonstrate a working understanding of how these needs impact upon learning and behaviour in the classroom. You may have specialist knowledge and experience of working with autistic spectrum disorder or pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Or you may have experience of working across both specialisms

Job Summary and Duties

Working as an SEN Primary Teacher for Brookthorpe Hall School, you will deliver fun educational based learning which is tailored to each of our pupils to ensure they will achieve positive results. The role will be challenging but rewarding, working in a dynamic environment where you can make a real difference. You will be expected to lead the teaching of and co-ordinate flexible, person-centred programmes of study for individuals and groups of pupils. You will be able to demonstrate a practical, hands-on approach to teaching and be prepared to go above and beyond for the young people we support.

Following a thorough induction programme, your duties will include:

Teaching a varied range of subjects
Preparing, planning and assessing teaching sessions whilst maintaining an awareness of curriculum developments

Build relationships with all young people, which will encourage their interest and participation in their education

About the role

The Assistant Headteacher will undertake the normal responsibilities of a teacher and be a member of the senior leadership team. They will work independently, alongside SLT to define, articulate, and implement the school’s vision and values.

The Assistant Headteacher will work in close partnership with the Senior Leadership Team, SENCo, parents, Governors and external agencies to improve, maintain and monitor high standards of the quality of education across the school.

Job Title: Lead Clinician

Location: Brookthorpe Hall School, Gloucestershire

Salary: £50,000+ per annum, (dependent on experience)

Hours: 37.5 per week Monday to Friday

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Clinician to join our in-house Clinical Team, at our Brookthorpe Hall School based in Gloucestershire. Working collaboratively with the site, you will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our pupils with developmental trauma, autism, ADHD, complex and SEMH needs. You will also be responsible for the line management of the members of the onsite clinical team.

You will be responsible for holding the therapy caseload at the Brookthorpe Hall School. With the full support of our well-established and knowledgeable clinical network and growing Clinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training and consultation. Both a challenging and rewarding role, this position would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with a therapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well as manage their own workload and supervise others. Working within overall framework of the service policies and procedures, you will be supporting the integration of the specific service in the day to day running of each provision i.e., standardised assessments and clinical services. Essential Criteria:

Recognised degree in either, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Clinical Psychology or Psychotherapy.
Valid and up to date HCPC Registration
Registered member of RCSLT
Previous experience of paid or voluntary work within a trauma or complex needs setting
