Job Summary

This position works at the direction of the Registered Nurse providing patient care and general duties in the organization.  Provides direct care for the patients as assigned, answers call lights, and performs courier and transporter functions.  Collects data through a variety of means including observation and through the use of instrumentation.    Assists in the provision of care to patients of all age groups.

Essential Functions

Medical Laboratory Scientists (sometimes referred to as clinical laboratory scientists, or medical technologists) are responsible for performing all aspects of testing on patient samples in an attempt to detect the absence or presence of a number of diseases. Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
The Medical Assistant is a multi-skilled clinical professional that provides indirect and/or direct patient care within the scope of practice and in alignment with the standards of excellence and quality. Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
The Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) delivers patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment, identifying and determining the priority of patient’s problems/needs, and evaluating the process and outcome of nursing care, all in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
