We are currently recruiting for a 40-hour Fleet Delivery Driver to distribute pharmaceutical and healthcare products and services to our portfolio of pharmacies located throughout the UK.
Our main Warehouse, where you will be based, is located on Lynstock Way, Lostock, Bolton, BL6 4SA and you will be required to collect your van and start work each day from this location.

If successful in joining our team, you will be allocated a designated run, which may change in location from time to time, working 5 days a week Monday to Friday.
Monday 07:00- 15:30 (30minute break)
Tuesday 07:00- 15:30 (30minute break)
Wednesday 07:00- 15:30 (30minute break)
Thursday 07:00- 15:30 (30minute break)
Friday 07:00- 15:30 (30minute break)
In accordance with our site H&S risk assessment, applicants must be at least 18 years old.
This vacancy is on a permanent basis, however, is conditional upon successfully completing the probationary period.
In essence your main responsibilities will be loading deliveries onto your designated vehicle, distributing the products to our branches, whilst ensuring all items are received correctly and undamaged. However, our Drivers are much more than this. As part of the Warehouse/Fleet team you will deliver exceptional customer service standards to your customers. You will want to achieve the highest professional standards in the way you drive, your appearance and your approach to your job role.
Key Responsibilities include:
• To be responsible for your own and colleagues Health and Safety.
• To be responsible for daily and weekly checks on assigned company vehicle and ensuring any defects are immediately reported to the relevant Supervisor/Manager.
• To be responsible for the general housekeeping of your assigned vehicle and of the warehouse, when appropriate.
• To ensure that all your assigned daily deliveries are completed in an efficient, safe and professional manner.
• Where possible, to assist with any reasonable requests made by our branches whilst on your deliveries.
• To ensure all relevant paperwork is completed as required.
• When required to assist in any other duties within the warehouse & fleet department.
• To perform every duty assigned to the best of your ability.
• To adhere to all relevant S.O.P.’s.
• When necessary - to assist other team members.
• To actively participate in operational meetings.
• Keeping the business informed of any issued via your line manager.
To be successful in this role you must have a clean full UK driving licence, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work independently as well as a team member, ability to follow instructions, be punctual and reliable as well as smart in appearance.

Within this role you will have the opportunity as a permanent member of the team to join our delivery team.

You will join the business as a Van driver with a mix of duties, including picking for the delivery team which includes supporting the delivered operation in achieving first class customer service.

You will need a full driving license to be considered for this role.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

Responsible for the accurate picking and dispatch of goods by picking against a hand held terminal and advising Manager of any differences.

Checking quality, shelf life and ensuring packaging is robust in preparation for Delivery.

Responsible for providing a high standard of customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and to target.

Providing first class service to our customers when delivering their goods.

Being polite when dealing with delivery staff and responding appropriately to queries and complaints referring any complex situations to someone who can help.

You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

FLT - Counterbalance

Bolton BL6 Area.

Shifts: 4 days between Monday-Friday plus a Saturday or Sunday half day.

Rate of pay: £11.46/hour

It is a long-term position with guaranteed temp to perm after 12 weeks

Our client is a leading full capacity 3PL fulfilment business serving customers around the world with a range of e-commerce, warehousing, and distribution solutions.. We are currently looking for Fork Lift Drivers for the warehouse department. This is a long term job with guaranteed Permanent contract after 12 weeks. There are plenty of progressions within the company with a salary increase after 12 weeks.

Pay rate

· £11.46/hour for any hours worked up to 36 hours/week.

· £17.19/hour for any hours worked after 36 hours/week.

Shifts

· 4 days between Monday-Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm plus a Saturday or Sunday 8am - 12pm (Weekend hours paid at double rate making up 40 hours pay/week).

Role Duties:

As a forklift truck operator, your main duties would include:

· performing other warehouse tasks like picking, packing and despatch

· moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility

· stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions

· checking loads are secure

· stacking empty pallets

· performing daily equipment checks, for example recharging the truck's battery (if the truck is electric)

· helping to load and unload trucks by hand where necessary

The Candidate:

To be successful, you need to:

· have a valid or expired license/certificate (In-house license is valid) to operate FLT trucks (Counterbalance)-RTITB, ITSSAR or Have previous experinece operating one of the following trucks FLT / COUNTERBALANCE

· be punctual and reliable

· Having own transpoort is essential due to the job location.

· be able to organise and prioritise workload

· have good numeracy and literacy skills
