• Serve as Assistant Transportation Coordinator; obtain pricing information from the Transportation Services Division, prepare and submit Motor Transportation Requests to the Director for approval, and transmit completed paperwork for funding.

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to test, troubleshoot, repair and modify aircraft pneudraulic systems and to provide training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth therein.

DUTIES:
Duty 1 - Conducts scheduled periodic maintenance inspections on all hydraulically operated systems on aircraft.
Duty 2 - Troubleshoots all hydraulic systems on both local and transient aircraft.
Duty 3 - Makes initial technical order changes and follow-ups by bench tests.
Duty 4 - Utilizes safety practices and procedures and complies with security regulations, directives, and policies.
Duty 5 - Controls tools. Ensures tools are properly marked, calibrated (if necessary), and are secured when area is unattended.

The Branch manager is responsible for a branch that includes four small and three medium hub airports. This responsibility includes 306 Federally funded airports throughout Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri including more than 35 Part 139 certified airports.

Supervises the assistant branch manager and technical staff of up to 17 employees staff engaged in administering all aspects of Airports programs.

The selectee is responsible for overseeing and directing the implementation of the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) ensuring, at a high level, the appropriate coordination (both internal and external) takes place. The program involves airport planning (airport master planning, state and/or metropolitan system planning) and implementation of the National Environmental Policy Act. The AIP requires annual updates to the office of Airports Capital Improvement Plan (ACIP) and includes primary and non-primary airports.

Collaborates with all organizations and stakeholders to address corporate level initiatives, acting as an Agent of FAA for meeting with DOT, States, local municipalities, Airports, etc.

The selectee will interface with others to achieve organizational objectives and exercise delegated authority in advising Federal, state, and local officials on laws, regulations, and innovative solutions regarding airport development and operations.

As a, SHEET METAL MECHANIC (AIRCRAFT), WG-3806-10, you will perform duties such as, independently inspect aircraft and determine the nature and extent of repairs to be made, using applicable technical orders as guidelines. Works directly on the aircraft and its components, fulfilling such tasks as removal, repair, modification and installation of parts and assemblies, such as frames, stringers, longerons, bulkheads, beams, ribs, spars, skin, cowling, brackets, faring, access doors, panels and other related items. Repairs cracks in aircraft skin, Fabricates and fits patches to damaged areas, determining repair detail necessary to retain or restore original strength. Troubleshoots aircraft structural repair situations in such areas as fuselage, tails, wings, cowlings, and stabilizers. Inspects damage or deterioration and determines repair or replacement of plastic, fiberglass, composites, bonded structures, and bonded honeycomb assemblies using powered and nonpowered tools and equipment. Manufactures and ensures that metal tubing, conduits and cables are fabricated and tested in accordance with drawings and specifications. Sets up and operates power shears, brakes, rolls, dimpling machines, drill presses, saws, portable powered tools, specific detection and measuring equipment, and other metal working equipment, including use of other tools of the trade. Work Schedule: This position works on a 5/4/9 compressed work schedule that consists of a 5-day workweek, then a 4-day workweek (eight 9-hour days and one 8-hour day and an SDO, Scheduled Day Off) to complete the 80-hour pay period. Work schedule is subject to change based on mission requirements.

The incumbent serves as a Transportation Assistant - Transportation Coordinator acts as primary contact to Veterans for transportation needs. The incumbent works with the Veteran Transportation Service (VTS) Supervisory Mobility Manager for transportation workload forecasting, scheduling design, procedure development, and quality improvement implementation, modification of processes, evaluation, and ongoing operational flow of the Veteran Transportation Services program.

The coordination of transportation function is multi-faceted and diverse. The three major areas of responsibility are: (1) Scheduling, Data Collection, & Tracking Support; (2) Consult Management responsibilities; (3) Program Support responsibilities. The incumbent must have knowledge of clinical services, related software, and programs as they relate to clinical computing and office automation.

Major duties include but are not limited to:

• Performs work involving consult management, appointment scheduling and admissions scheduling.
• Daily responsibilities include collecting, compiling, and tracking data and statistical information in support of Veteran Transportation Service (VTS).

.Major duties and responsibilities include:
