The Personnel Scheduler assists the Clinical Managers with staff scheduling operations to meet the needs of current and future patients. The Scheduler assigns staff based on each unit’s job roles and staffing pattern. The Scheduler strives to achieve this balanced schedule based on an understanding of position control and established guidelines. The Scheduler has knowledge of staff’s FTE status, requests, PTO needs, and FMLA. Additional duties may include but are not limited to typing, filing, data collection, education, and miscellaneous support functions.

Major Responsibilities

1.  Coordinates coverage across the units assigned based on guidelines established by the director and manager, staff personnel availability and skill mix to ensure safe and high-quality patient care.

2.  Works collaboratively with the director and manager for assigned unit to develop and coordinate future staffing patterns while staying within budget parameters.

3.  Coordinates orientation schedules and mandatory training for staff with the unit professional development nurses to achieve organizational, departmental and regulatory standards.

4.  Manages employee requests (PTO, Education, Meeting, etc.) and coordinates schedule to ensure proper coverage

5.  Reviews and assists in the development of staffing guidelines periodically to ensure effectiveness with achieving staffing/budget goals.

6.  Responds to staff scheduling and timecard concerns via email or phone. Develops resolutions in accordance with department guidelines, collaborating with director or manager when necessary.

7.  Serves as staff resource for Kronos ESS and timecard functionality.

8.  Serves as educator of Kronos ESS and timecard functionality

9.  Utilizes Kronos reporting to collect and interpret scheduling data.

10.  Performs timecard reconciliation for assigned staff.

11.  Maintains proficiency with Microsoft Excel; building and maintain position controls to better provide future staffing recommendations

12.  Maintains proficiency with Kronos ESS to accurately build staff schedules per unit/department guidelines.

13.  Staffing Office Responsibilities (frequency determined by department need)

• Coordinates daily staffing assignments based on priority of requests, staff personnel availability, and skill mix to ensure superior patient care.
• Ensures Kronos is current with daily staffing adjustments
• Works collaboratively with leadership across the system to determine and coordinate immediate staffing needs.
• As directed by the supervisor, documents and implements procedures that ensure compliance with departmental and organizational policies, standards, and employee performance

Position Summary: 

The Supply Clerk distributes all supplies to departments and/or patients, maintains inventory, stocks shelves, handles freight, daily mail and assists with inventory counts.  In addition to focusing on delivering quality patient care, the Supply Clerk will also focus on revenue and expense factors.  This position is responsible for all patient charging of supplies that come out of Central Service inventory, which has a direct effect on the revenue of the hospital.  Accurate data entry and accurate supply issues are essential for the financial success of the department.

General Purpose of Job:

The Operating Room Materials Management Assistant is responsible for tracking and maintaining supplies and implants in the OR. This person assists in updating and maintaining patient charge codes as well as acting as a resource for the Lawson system.  This person works with vendors, other hospital departments, as well as outside facilities to keep stock available as needed.   Assist in cost saving analysis and implementation.  Also assist in recording and reporting variances.  Clinically keeps abreast of new technology involving surgical supplies and purchases.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible with perpetual inventory and/or maintaining par levels for supplies, implants and disposable equipment in Surgical Services.
• Assists with equipment control program 
• Monitors and coordinates product recalls under the supervision of the OR Manager
• Responsible for acquisition and disposition of all supplies, implants, and disposable instrumentation for Surgical Services.
• Assists in obtaining quotes for capital equipment
• Establishes and maintains inventory database in OR management information system.
• Responsible in updating and maintaining patient charge codes
• Coordinates the introduction of new supplies and new implants within Surgical Services.

The Beverage Operations Manager (Supply Chain Advisor) supports the department in cultivating and capturing synergies across operations functions within Niagara as we service existing and future business.  This includes driving alignment across the Procurement, Customer Service, Strategic Planning, Transportation, Finance, IT, QA and other operations functions supporting Beverage, with the objective of driving execution and service to our customer base while maximizing cost efficiency.  The Manager will also work closely with Manufacturing, Product Development, Engineering and other teams throughout the Niagara network to ensure coordination between internal departments and customer order fulfilment expectations.

Essential Functions

• Key liaison between manufacturing quality department and customer/sales
• Work with the quality team at HQ and plant to ensure there’s clear process around all quality documentation in line with the customer needs
• Initiate projects to improve service level for customer and reduce production and logistics complexity for Internal teams at Niagara
• Access the financial and operational impacts of new product launches and provide feedback to sales and program management on potential areas of opportunity
• Ensure the increase in complexity for plant operations are captured and budgeted for as new customers or additional requirements/complexity come in.
• Document line capacities and keep it updates as new products are commissioned and capacity added
• Maintain current schedule of rebuilds and retrofits that might impact line capacity or ability
•  Collaborate with the intra-logistics managers to ensure all quality parameters are met in our 3PL network
• Collaborate with manufacturing and planning to ensure line changeovers between different product types are optimized to have the best sequencing of product to maximize throughput
• Manage the service execution strategy for Niagara’s Beverage Customer base.  This includes driving the overall service vision, strategy and tactics (in collaboration with Niagara’s various operations teams) across our growing customer portfolio.
• Manage customer-specific supply execution plans that meet/exceed relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) set forth in our Beverage Agreements.
• Drive long-term strategies to ensure we meet/exceed our revenue growth goals.
• Manage the operational execution relationships with our customers, coordinating with Niagara’s Beverage Sales team to ensure long-term success.
• Collaborate with customers on their operational KPI/data needs and work internally to Niagara to facilitate and drive alignment and execution with those needs.
• Optimize service, financial, and operational KPI’s by determining how best to improve and streamline customer needs across Niagara’s manufacturing and distribution network.
• Lead in the implementation of system-wide solutions to minimize cost while achieving targeted service levels to customers.
• Drive the development, design and optimization of processes and systems affecting our customer base.

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6 Years  – Experience in Supply Chain, Planning (Demand/Supply), Logistics, Inventory, (Raw) Materials management, Warehousing
  • 6 Years  – Experience in similar manufacturing environment
  • 6 Years  – Experience managing projects

• Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10+ Years– Experience in Supply Chain, Planning (Demand/Supply), Logistics, Inventory, (Raw) Materials management, Warehousing
  • 10+ Years – Experience in similar manufacturing environment

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Management Science, or related field

Strategic Sourcing Administrator (temporary, part-time) - Office of the Chief Financial Officer - Georgetown University

The Strategic Sourcing Administrator - in a temporary, part-time role and reporting to the Director of Strategic Sourcing - works directly with Supplier and Category Managers, and may also assist Georgetown stakeholders with procurement and sourcing inquiries.

Requirements and Qualifications
