Applied Materials’ TKM Product Operation Program management is searching for an intern to join our team in summer 2024! Thus, we are seeking a highly motivated intern to support supplier audit related projects and reporting initiatives within our Global TKM business. The position will entail the following:

• Support Supplier audit and Quality inspection projects by assisting in planning, conducting, and documenting supplier audits to ensure compliance with AGS quality standards and performance metrics.
• Monitor Supplier Process performance and Production records on all parts processed through each station; Create status report and presentation to management to track supplier audit statistics results and action items.
• Collaborate SD engineering team and CBM team to analyze business- related numbers and status for global TKM business, providing insights and recommendations for process improvement.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of comprehensive dashboards to track supplier capacity, capabilities, and performance metrics on a global scale; Work close with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the dashboard provides easy- to -understand visualizations for effective decision making.
• Conduct TKM Cost- Saving global initiatives alignment and prepare executive -level status reports for presentation to global leadership.
• Be a leadership team’s thought partner by developing plans and deploying to bring up multiple global suppliers in parallel.
• Provide support in ad hoc projects and initiatives related to supplier management and performance optimization.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program for Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Industrial Engineering, System Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a business-related field.
• Good academic standing with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building trust.
• Quick learner and able to solve problems creatively and analytically.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Comfortable working in the manufacturing cleanroom environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).

What you will learn and develop:

Depending on the suitable development opportunities in Group Distribution

In the Business Development, Group Agency Distribution Team, you may be involved in:

• Supporting management report preparation
• Supporting agency data analysis
• Supporting cross-functional initiatives and collaborations, e.g., ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and BCM (Business Continuity Management)
• Supporting the planning & execution of regional programs and LBU initiatives (as needed)

In the Agency Operations & Digitalisation, Group Agency Distribution Team, you may be involved in:

• Assisting in maintaining SharePoint structures
• Supporting production of regular reports
• Supporting Agency Share Purchase Plan (ASPP) activities
• Assisting in the co-ordination and communication of agency recognition and awards
• Supporting agency digitalisation initiatives

In the Group Distribution Office, you may be involved in:

• Working closely with Group Distribution Event Management team to manage the planning and execution of regional events held by Group Distribution
• Collaborating with Group Distribution stakeholders to source and analyze event options to optimize budget spending and resource allocation
• collaborating with external event organizers and vendors
• Supporting post-event tasks, including reporting and expenses tracking
• Supporting Group Distribution Reporting team on various reporting matters

The Marketing Coordinator has the overall responsibility for being the custodian for sub-function of the marketing team for the Company's Technology Solutions, India. Assisting in events, communications, managing the vendor portals and helping in maintaining the the Company's Brand image.

Responsibilities:
