The Role

• We are looking for Retail Team Driver to add to our already successful team.
• This role will require you to oversee the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region
• Work will be carried out on different Retail customer sites / stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis.
• You must follow the correct processes when notifying your count team of the pick-up points and timings for each shift
• Escalating any issues with the vehicle in a timely and efficient manner
• Completing a team attendance sheet, detailing the stock counters expected on the bus, who attended and the arrival time of the bus on site.
• Whilst on site you will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock

Key Skills/ Experience Required

• This role will involve working unsociable hours, working early mornings or night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of 21 years.
• This role requires you to have a Full Driving License.
• You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.

You will be responsible for providing an efficient and caring transport service within the Integrated Transport Unit, ensuring the health and safety of service users at all times. You will work with a wide range of customers that include children, learning disability groups and the elderly taking them to various schools and day care centres.

About You

(1) Manages supply activities to include support of inventory control, storage, distribution, cataloging, supply identification systems, property utilization, and other related activities using both Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) and non-STAMIS systems. Manages the STAMIS system requesting access and SARSS2 parameter change requests.

(2) Reviews procurements through the appropriate STAMIS and vendor based web sites. Analyzes requests to ensure items being ordered are authorized. Coordinates payments to GSA, prime vendor, and local vendors by Government Purchase Card. Manages the GPC and the Federal Fuel Credit Card accounts (ground and aviation) to ensure charges and credits are being applied. Audits and reconciliations are conducted at the end of each transaction period to ensure the accuracy of transactions. Processes all requests for local purchases, including those for items listed within standard supply classes. Processes the manager's review file daily and reconciles all records, monthly, between SARSS 1 and SARSS 2 to ensure validity of the stock record account. Process inquiries regarding supply status.

(3) Develops and applies standards to manager referred transactions. Coordinates with Continental United States (CONUS) supply sources (private and public) on materials needed to alleviate delays. Validates due-in transactions and researches items delayed in shipment. Processes Shipment Discrepancy Reports (SDR) and Quality Deficiency Reports (QDR). Processes monthly reports regarding commodity management, including transaction error reports, overage manager's review file, performance standard reports, overage reports, and other related supply discrepancy reports. Applies appropriate budget controls on selective items and maintains records indicating the necessity for control.

(4) Analyzes the integrated management of ASL stock and contingency stock. Ensures proper types and amounts of supplies are available to support requirements. Reviews and updates the ASL, considering demand history, anticipated consumption, turnover rates, future requirements solicited from MACOMS, total package fielding, special projects, and funds availability. Analyzes and researches to determine authorizations, substitutes, and trouble shooting of problem areas. Reviews inventory on-hand, requisitioning objective, contingency stocks, and develops courses of action based on these conditions.

(5) Analyzes vendor reports to determine the destination of expended funds. Develops reports for the Supply Systems Analyst based on findings. Coordinates information with program managers and units to assist with formulating budgets.

(6) Manages supply transactions based on dollar limitations, status of Obligation Authority, consumer funds, coordinating with requisitioning activity and the source of supply. Coordinates with Budget Analyst, S&S Officer, and comptroller personnel to determine authorizations for commitment and expenditure of funds. Makes analytical review of demands, issues, and obligations. Notes trends causing out of tolerance actions and develops courses of action to resolve these conditions.

(7) Manages excess supplies and equipment IAW USPFO procedures to determine the appropriate disposition. Manages the DOD Activity Address File (DODAAF) to include additions, changes, and deletions. Develops reports to ensure that adequate and accurate information is provided. Processes all excess materiel transactions through the Objective Supply Capability Adaptive Readiness Inventory Control Point (OSCAR/ICP).

(8) Supports mobilization and demobilization by managing rapid fielding initiative (RFI) push packages).

(9) Manages stocks assigned to various classes of supply. Develops reports that track on hand supplies to ensure accurate accountability. Processes requests for operation rations, including commercial subsistence and commercial meals, requests for cash meal payment books and validates cash meal payment book transactions, annually, with units. Processes CL II off line request.

(10) Processes requests for ammunition. Processes ammunition receipts from depot, ASPs and turn-ins from units. Uses the SAAS-MOD STAMIS to process all ammunition requests and turn-ins, inventories, shipments, etc.

(10) Coordinate with agencies of DOD, DA, NGB, LOGSA, USPFO Warehouse and supported units/activities.

(11) Performs other duties as assigned.

Determines and analyzes trends in effectiveness and efficiency to be used for improving undesirable conditions, accountability of items, expenditure of funds, and management of resources within the branch. Oversees the preparation of budget estimates and maintenance of funds accounts for the branch.

We are recruiting an HGV Driver to join our supportive network of professional drivers, covering our Colchester Operation Centre and the surrounding area.

You'll be working from Monday to Friday, with no nights out or bank holiday working, so you'll benefit from a great work-life balance and have more time to yourself.

A Copart Driver loads, collects and delivers predominantly accident damaged vehicles of all shapes, sizes and conditions on our salvage transporters and therefore the role can be physically demanding. We work on behalf of our insurance and automotive customers, to service agreements.

They carry out internal and external checks on their trucks and equipment and report any defects, photograph any damage and carry out inspections of all collected and delivered vehicles.

Copart Drivers must comply with legal and company requirements of a professional driver and operate the vehicle and loading equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following all H&S policies and procedures.

No transporter experience? No problem - we'll provide you with everything you need! You'll be supported through 3 weeks of the very best job related 1-2-1 training and benefit from our bespoke designed annual CPC training. If you have a Cat C licence, we are able to up-skill to C+E after successful completion of your probationary period.

What we need from you:

• HGV Licence Class 1 or Class 2
• Current CPC
• A good understanding of the EC Drivers Hours and Working Time regulations
• Driving experience in both rural and urban environments
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Confident in the use of handheld devices, with experience in the use of basic IT applications
• Adaptable, with the ability to organise and adjust your working day
• Car transportation or recovery experience would be an advantage, but isn't essential

Salary: Grade F. SCP 17 £30,060 SCP 22 £32,654 plus pension, continuing training, tool allowance and enhanced rates where shift pattern applicable.

This post currently attracts a discretionary market supplement up to a maximum of £2,594 per annum, in accordance with the Council’s Market Forces Scheme and is subject to annual review.

The Role

Based at Tame Street, Stalybridge, you will be an enthusiastic and talented HGV/light vehicle mechanic with the drive to keep our Transport Fleet on the move.

This is an opportunity to utilise, and further develop your existing skills carrying out routine maintenance, testing, diagnostic and repair work to our large fleet of HGV’s, light vehicles, plant and specialist equipment. You will be joining a team of vehicle/plant fitters and have a manager who is supportive and keen to facilitate your development.

You should be organised, have good written and oral communication skills, be customer focused, hold a current driving licence (LGV Category C desirable) and trained to NVQ Level 3/City &Guilds (or equivalent) in a Heavy Vehicle Maintenance/Repair discipline. If you’re from a light vehicle or agricultural background, you are encouraged to apply. Training will be given to the right candidate.

About You

• Literate and Numerate
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and repair (Heavy Vehicle) / or City Guilds Certificate or equivalent
• Possession of a Class B driving licence.
• Previous experience in the diagnosis of faults, repairs and maintenance of municipal vehicles/plant and equipment’s.
• Good working knowledge of hydraulic systems.
• Good working knowledge/skills in the diagnosis of faults and repairs of electrical systems.
• The ability to demonstrate a good understanding of Operator Licensing requirements and undertakings.
• Experience in the use of computer based diagnostic equipment.
• The ability to demonstrate a good understanding of Health and Safety requirements and regulations, relating to large automotive workshops
• Proven experience of working within a large workshop environment.
• The ability to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision.
• The ability to work at height.
• Possession of comprehensive set of tooling relevant to vehicle maintenance

(2) Property Redistribution: Works with units assigned in dealing with distribution and redistribution of Equipment and Assets. Redistributes Equipment intra and inter state. Using redistribution programs and standard logistics STAMIS programs and guidance from NGB, DA and LOGSA initiates actions for proper transfer and movement.

(3) Property Asset Reporting: Performs Quarterly Equipment on hand analysis by unit identification code (UIC) to improve equipment accountability to ensure all UIC units are validated on. Manages and analyzes the Unique Item Tracking (UIT) reports to LOGSA for sensitive and high visibility assets. Coordinates all activities for Property Book officers when there is a UIC that is located in multiple states.

(4) Reconciliations: Validates state asset visibility and accountability of federal assets using PBUSE. Initiates and recommends unit visits for performance of reconciliations. Assists with and monitors posting as the result of unit reconciliations (Annual, change of PBO or change of Command). Provides expertise, recommendations and training directly to Property Book Officers, Supply Personnel or Unit Personnel for property accountability procedures. Resolves inventory problems and where items may be lost or damaged and is must be able to use judgment as applicable regulations may be ambiguous.

(5) Mobilization and Support Responsibilities: Reviews, validates and establishes accountability for mobilizing units and organizations. Performs inventories, site visits and coordination with the state mobilization office to insure accountability and proper property books are established for deploying activities.

(6) Customer Support: Processes GCSS-A reject reports, performs S-Tops system administration, updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) internally and for UIC units, initiates Letters of Instruction to units and organizations, processes and manages Standard Study Number-Line Item Number Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program Hub (AESIP) transactions. Process unit and activity requests for Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DODAAC). Prepares state, NGB, DA and DOD directed reports that deal with property accountability and visibility.

(7) Performs a wide range of supply actions to accomplish required duties. Uses multiple supply systems and supply data files.
