This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based at our Catterick site, near Richmond.

Essential experience of the Vehicle Mechanic:

The role
The purpose of this role is to provide the first line management capability for vehicle inspection, service and repair activity on a vast range of military equipment within Catterick main workshop. This role is to manage a team of mechanical engineers and electrical engineers, ensuring the team have the correct suitably qualified and experienced person (SQEP), tools and processes they need to safely deliver outputs against the plan(s). They ensure systems are updated providing accurate information for decision making and giving visibility for the wider business to support.

Day to day, you'll:

• Ensure the delivery teams have the necessary people, tools, and processes they need to safely deliver outputs against the plan(s).
• Provide effective leadership to your team, ensuring health and safety, quality, output, and adherence to Babcock principles

• Completed (or working towards) British Safety Council Level 2 qualification

The role
As a Vehicle Mechanic, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. With your skills and experience, you'll be undertaking the servicing, repair, maintenance and overhaul of vehicles and electrical equipment, including diagnostic and inspection duties. You'll also be carrying out equipment examination to meet production requirements.

Day to day, you'll be carrying out work to the required standard and specification as detailed in accordance with customer requirements, current regulations, local instructions, process plans and other technical publications. You'll also ensure stores and equipment issued to job are used for their correct purpose.

• Diagnose, inspect and assess vehicles and associated mechanical / electrical equipment in line skills & competency
• Ensure stores and equipment issued to job are used for their correct purpose and un-used or new faulty material is returned to the section / department Team Leader as soon as it is identified
• Creation of job cards and demanding material where the relevant ERP (SAP) training has been completed
• Completion of vehicle and equipment documentation and test certificates / reports to current standards

Essential experience of the Vehicle Mechanic:

• Previous experience within similar role is required
• Hydraulics experience
• Dealership / Local Garage experience
• A real team player with the ability to adapt and build rapport
• All personal protective equipment (PPE), special and personal tooling provided (including toolboxes) is also provided.

This role is full time and based onsite at Catterick. Tea & Coffee provided

Qualifications for the Vehicle Mechanic:

• NVQ Level three Service and Repair

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.

Retail Minibus Driver

Salary: £26,083 plus bonus

Location: Newport

Work Pattern: 48 hours per week (Any 5 out of 7)

• We are looking for Retail Team Drivers to add to our already successful team.
• This role will require you to oversee the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region
• Work will be carried out on different Retail customer sites / stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis.
• You must follow the correct processes when notifying your count team of the pick-up points and timings for each shift
• Escalating any issues with the vehicle in a timely and efficient manner
• Completing a team attendance sheet, detailing the stock counters expected on the bus, who attended and the arrival time of the bus on site.
• Whilst on site you will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock

Key Skills/ Experience Required

• This role will involve working unsociable hours, working early mornings or night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of 21 years.
• This role requires you to have a Full Driving License.
• You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
• With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
• Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.

360 driver required for work in Catterick Garrison for 1-2 weeks work starting Wednesday 14th

• Rate is negotiable
• Driving a 20t excavator for a demolition company
• 39 hours per week
• Minimum of 1 week but may be 2 weeks
• Must have CPCS or NPORS for above and below 360
