Serco have an exciting role as an Aircraft Supervisor – Mechanical (unlicenced) at RAF Syerston, working under MAA Pt145/RA4801. We are looking for an individual who is able to lead and supervise engineering personnel, carrying out maintenance on Viking and other contract-related aircraft at RAF Syerston and other locations throughout the UK.

Main accountabilities:

- Fulfill the responsibilities and duties of Support Staff with Supervisory Responsibilities in accordance with Serco GMS policies and military regulatory policies

• Supervising and training employees regarding varied capacities of the HVAC systems such as duty cycling, start/stop time optimization, auto restart time-of-day scheduling, peak demand limiting, maintenance work order generation, reset application, air delivery equipment optimization, enthalpy optimization, record log keeping of monitoring applications, and alarm status of the multitude of programmable alarm functions throughout the facility.
• Reprogramming the HVAC portion of the energy management system main computer console and separate "stand alone" remote control units with various software updates as they become available from the supplier and economically benefit the Medical Center.
• Establishing an air conditioning systems management program that will meet all requirements of VHA and TJC. This program will consist of at least the following: Identification and inventory of all critical HVAC systems and critical components supporting these systems and a written plan to ensure testing, balancing, and maintenance of the systems so continued operation of the systems will be available at all times.

The PMI receives administrative direction from management in terms of broadly defined missions or functions. ASIs at the FG-13 level issue certificates to and monitor (1) a large and complex aviation organization or (2) a number of smaller organizations that, together, are comparable in complexity to one large one. They are the primary contact point with the aviation organization(s). They may decide on issuance of the original certificates. They evaluate and decide upon proposals to change the authorized programs of the organizations.
