Intel is in the midst of a transformational journey to deliver on its ambitious IDM 2.0 strategy which includes significant manufacturing expansions and the creation of a foundry to serve internal and external customers.
This position is a critical new role in our overall transformation supporting three key businesses involved in IDM 2.0; Manufacturing, Technology Development (TD), and Foundry Services (FS), collectively referred to as Intel Foundry.
Intel Foundry's Supply Chain Enablement (SCE) Team is looking for an experienced Business Architect to support our expanding Intel Foundry Services business. This role enables you to find and fix issues critical to foundry customer needs. This position will have responsibility to design supply planning solutions to support the needs of the Intel Foundry Services' Customers. Included in a business architect's responsibilities:
- Working in partnership with our team of integration leads and across Intel's supply chain organizations.
- Supporting programs thru implementation to confirm the technical solution meets evolving business needs while avoiding overengineered processes and tools.
- Delivering the future state of Foundry Services (FS) supply planning and supply chain solutions.
- Work closely with Intel IT, Factory Automation, and business integration managers to translate FS customer needs into detailed enterprise architectures delivered within the project timeline and translated into future roadmaps.
- Providing design criteria for control and oversight of technical solution providers to ensure delivered capabilities are in line with the design intentions and objectives.
- Providing thought-leadership through robust knowledge of best-in-class capabilities across the full supply chain, from Customer to Supplier.
- The ideal candidate should exhibit the following skills and experience:
- Experience working with factory and engineering personnel.
- Strong understanding of interrelated organizations and processes - Sales, Finance, Tax, Trade.
- Data Analytics: ability to understand various data sets and define KPIs and dashboards needed to drive the correct behaviors and business decisions.
- Demonstrated broad Supply Chain and project management knowledge.
- Supply Chain Management Software: proficiency in various supply chain tools and ERP systems.
- System Architecture Design: Knowledge of designing and integrating various systems and technologies within the supply chain.
- Strategic Planning: ability to develop long-term supply chain strategies that align with business goals.
- Risk Management: expertise in identifying risks and mitigations within the supply chain.
- Cost optimization: optimizing processes to reduce costs while maintaining efficiency and quality.
- Analytical Thinking: strong ability to analyze complex supply chain problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Process Improvement: Skills in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Communication: ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Business Operations: deep knowledge of how the supply chain impacts overall business operations and profitability.
- Financial Acumen: ability to understand and manage the financial aspects of the supply chain, including budgeting, cost analysis, and financial forecasting.
- Emerging Technologies: awareness of emerging technologies like IoT, blockchain, and AI, and their potential applications in supply chain management.
- Compliance Management: Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards that impact the supply chain.

Qualifications
For consideration, the candidate should meet with minimum qualifications. Preferred qualifications are additional considerations beyond the minimum and are a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, computer science, or a related field of study.
- 5+ years of supply chain experience, AND
- 2+ years' experience in manufacturing, OR
- 2+ years' experience in planning, and customer fulfillment, OR
- 2+ years' experience in supply chain processes and impact on external organizations
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, computer science, or a related field of study.
- Experience in ERP, manufacturing systems, supply chain, supply planning, customer fulfillment, and supply chain processes and impact on external organizations.
