To carry out all functions associated with prepared vehicles to be presented for final Quality Control checks, vehicle imaging and sold vehicle pre-despatch cosmetic preparation. Shift: Monday-Friday

What you’ll be doing….

The role may include one or more of the following functions:

Vehicle snagging – polishing and minor cosmetic rectification work. This will include the use of a machine polisher and minor smart repair techniques.

Auditing – Vehicles to be audited via the use of a handheld inspection device ensuring that all meet the standard required; Cosmetically including standard of valet.

Your Time at Work

As a Despatch / Warehouse Operative at this site your duties will include:

- Timely and 100% accurate supply of product to the customer
- Product picked and loaded onto vehicles according to plans
- Pick any customer's product available to them or instructed to at the required picking in rates
- Ensuring that pallets/trays are maintained in compliance with our customer's requirements
- Having 99% picking accuracy
- Eliminating returns due to picking errors

This role is very physical, involving picking and loading products onto pallets and standing on your feet all day.

Our ideal Despatch / Warehouse Operative will need to demonstrate a high level of literacy and numeracy and have warehouse experience. A forklift licence is desirable but not essential.

What the role involves:

Carrying out the critical pre-paint preparation of all steel products using a newly installed shotblasting facility within a controlled environment.

Methodically Painting and Finishing of the prepared products adhering to strong quality control measures when applying primer and paint applications. This is a Powder Coat Facility however certain products require a wet spray or Red Oxide coating.

Undertaking detailed quality inspections during and after the paint applications to ensure standards, procedures and expectations are being upheld.

Upon satisfactory inspection of finished goods, packaging each product carefully to eliminate transport damage ready for despatch.

Assisting with the loading of goods ready for despatch to the customer, ensuring correct labelling is on the packaging.
