- Serves as an APEX Load Director

- Serves as a working leader. Leads four or more civilian, military journeyman, and trainee aircraft freight loaders in the performance of aircraft freight loading and ground support duties on all types of military, commercial, and contract aircraft.

• Plans and carries out shipping arrangements for movements are made principally within a geographic area comprised of approximately one-half of the United States or nationwide (and sometimes to contiguous foreign countries) including shipments to seaports when there is no responsibility for rates and routes beyond the seaports.
• Performs difficult and complex classification, routing, and rating of shipments.
• Conducts pre- and post-audits and maintains shipping documentation and performs carrier evaluations.
• Provides technical guidance and advice on problems in all phases of outbound/inbound shipping.

• Monitor contractual production. Identify and audit the processes used to comply with contract requirements.
• Monitoring Quality Control program. Ensure the contractor quality personnel understands the contractual requirements.
• Monitoring Performance. Analyze contractor performance, quality processes, and perform data analysis to ensure consistent contractor performance.
• Performs documentation to record contractor's performance. Perform duties as required by the Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO) / Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) I Support ACO (SACO) delegations.
• Support the Quality Assurance Director and Superintendent in Quality Assurance functions.

• Makes complete travel arrangements for Permanent Change of Station (PCS) and Temporary Duty (TDY) travelers.
• Reviews travel orders and determines entitlements for active duty military, reserve component members, DoD civilians, and dependents for worldwide travel to include remote and isolated sites.
• Issues travel documentation. Reviews and verifies travel authorizations and determines special allowances such as excess baggage limitations, car rental, as well as mode of transportation authorized.
• Performs other clerical and administrative tasks in support of the transportation work. Prepares requests to recover excess costs, instructions on office procedures, requests for information, item descriptions, reports, and routine letters.

- Performs inspection and troubleshooting on. a variety of complete operational aircraft recipr-0cating or gas turbine engines in aircraft on the flightline, rebuilt or modified engines in test cells, or on the "penalty line" if correcting the defects will require extensive disassembly.

- Removes, disassembles, repairs, modifies, reassembles, and reinstalls aircraft engines, their assemblies, and components to include Auxiliary Power Units.

- Uses a variety of hand and power tools.

- Receives work document(s) or oral instructions regarding problem with aircraft fuel system.
- Troubleshoots integral fuel tanks, using leak path analysis and other test procedures such as pressure checks, vacuum checks, dye injection checks, helium and argon gas checks, etc., to determine the source of fuel leaks.
- Troubleshoots fuel cells to determine location of leaks.
- Accomplishes modifications and prepares components for storage or shipment.
- In performing duties uses a variety of common hand tools, combustible and toxic gas indicators, torque wrenches, leak detectors, pressure gauges, manometers, powered tools such as drills and pneumatic wrenches; also, operates AGE such as blowers, filters, vacuum cleaners, heaters, air conditioners, fire extinguishers, etc.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the command level senior technical expert and focal point for the execution of nuclear air operations. Applying Air Force military rated aviator experience, plans, directs, organizes and determines necessary policies, regulations, directives, instructions, programs, projects, doctrine, methods and procedures of Air Mobility Command nuclear enterprise forces.

• Serves as senior command nuclear air transportation expert at HQ AMC.
• Performs substantial, extensive, in-depth analysis of AFTRANS nuclear execution force operational problems, methods, procedures and techniques and the potential impact on strategic air assets.
• Represents HQ AMC/A3/10NTwith a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
• Uses expert knowledge of Air Force military aircrew, unit and HHQ to draft, analyze, develop, and evaluate detailed plans, planning factors, tasks, and objectives for long-range implementation of assigned plans and operational concepts.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a Major Command (MAJCOM) Airfield Information Analyst for Air Mobility Command (AMC) who manages and directs airfield suitability operations, and who also researches, reviews, gathers, documents and evaluates aeronautical information, and makes updates and recommendations regarding airfield suitability and operating restrictions for AMC aircraft conducting worldwide missions.

• Accomplishes command airfield suitability assessment and review processes.
• Manages and operates the command airfield help desk.
• Controls, updates and manages information and communications vital to Air Mobility Command (At'1C) airfield suitability.
• Technical advisor to command staff regarding airfield suitability and associated information, restrictions and remarks.
• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of applicable publications, operating instructions and policy documents required to accomplish command airfield suitability processes.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To serve as special advisor to the AMC/A3 and Mobility Guardian planning and execution staffs with responsibility for planning, directing, organizing and exercising control over Mobility Guardian planning and execution.

DUTIES:

1. Leads, plans, organizes, administers and directs the activities of the Mobility Guardian Staff, ensuring that financial management, budget, computer support, personnel management and manpower activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet security and developmentally needs of the population served.
2. Exercise supervisory personnel responsibilities.
3. Provides advice and assistance to HQ AMC leaders and international officials regarding manpower, financial management, budget, real estate and computer support to effectively meet current and long-range program goals and objectives.
4. Participates in community activities, conducts and attends briefings, meetings and conferences with local organizations (i.e. Chambers of Commerce, Kiwanis, etc.) to support the exercise.
5. Provides overall management and direction of facilities for Mobility Guardian and any other assigned special events in support of the exercise.

• Works with the Director of Operations, Air Mobility Command in planning, organizing, and overseeing activities designed to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data elements to identify and characterize safety related trends in aviation/mobility operations.
• Makes periodic and comprehensive assessment and evaluation of organizational goals and objectives to provide a basis for long-range planning to enhance the organization's management capabilities.
• Represents the directorate at higher levels within the organization and with other organizations.
• Participates with the Division Chief in the exercise of supervisory personnel management responsibilities.

• Programs the movement of all cargo to include special cargo involving dangerous/hazardous materials, general cargo, rations, AAFES items, household goods and high priority cargo (Green Sheet, 999, Life or Death, Forward Supply System (FSS), Mission Capability (MICAP), etc.) out of the aerial port for expeditious movement to its final destination.
• Reviews daily flying schedules for forecasted missions with special interest on routings and capability forecast worksheets depicting space blocks of high priority cargo/passengers.
• Inspects cargo pallets for weight or piece discrepancies and suitability for military or commercial aircraft.
• Assists the flight chief by performing various related support duties involving the load planning and inspection activity.
