JOB DESCRIPTION: Science Technician
PAY SCALE: Grade 10 £24,702 - £25,979 FTE (£22,336 - £23,491 pro rata)
HOURS OF WORK: Permanent, Full time, Term Time only plus INSETs plus 2 weeks
CLOSING DATE: 09:00 am on Wednesday 3rd July 2024We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and adaptable full time Science Technician to work Term Time only plus 15 days. You will be working as part of the Science team based at Patchway Community School, you will be expected to provide specialist support to teaching staff, including in-class support with student activities and to work without direct supervision as agreed with the Curriculum Team Leader for Science. You will have a relevant vocational or academic qualification or practical experience in a Science related activity. ICT skills are essential. We are looking for someone who is organised, flexible and enjoys working in a practical environment.
The post holder may also from time to time be asked to help Technicians from other departments.
