We are one of the largest cardiac MRI scanning centres in the UK. Our Imaging Clinical Research Facility is based in our St Thomas Hospital campus with strong research collaboration focusing on the development of novel acquisition, reconstruction and motion correction using different field strength MRI scanners. The facility is run by King’s College London, the University partner in close partnership with Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. Clinical services are delivered to approximately 13,000 patients a year (Cardiac MRI, Perinatal MRI and the PET Centre), and were recently re-accredited in accordance with the Quality Standard for Imaging (QSI) 2021

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Cardiac MRI Radiographer to join our nationally accredited clinical research imaging team. The department supports and mentors Radiographers in their personal and professional development including actively encouraging staff to attend high profile national and international seminars, conferences, presenting posters, abstracts and presentations.

We have a reputation for clinical excellence and high quality teaching and research. We are part of King’s Health Partners, one of eight accredited UK academic health sciences centres. In partnership with King’s College London we have dedicated clinical research facilities and a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Biomedical Research Centre.

The main purpose of this post is to participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team within our Cardiovascular Imaging Department to deliver an efficient, effective and timely Cardiac MRI service, supporting a strong portfolio Clinical Research Imaging programmes run by the Imaging Clinical Research Facility.

The successful candidate will work with clinicians, researchers and biomedical engineers whilst performing excellent quality imaging studies in accordance with the departmental protocols.

Fairfield High School is seeking to employ, on a permanent basis, a Science Technician for 37 hours per week, term time only plus 7 additional days. Part time hours can be considered if requested. An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Children’s Clinical Research Nurse, on a 12-month fixed term basis, to join our dynamic and friendly Paediatric Genetics Research team to support and lead on the delivery of high quality, holistic care to children and young people participating in paediatric genetics research studies. As a Children’s Research Nurse you will be working with the wider multidisciplinary team across commercial and non commercial studies to deliver a seamless pathway for patients participating in research trials/studies.

This will involve leading on study set up activities, screening, recruiting, educating and monitoring children and young people in studies as well the collation and documentation of study data. Senior Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine (ST4+) –80:20Research

The posts provide an ideal opportunity for the successful candidates to develop their own specialist interests while working in a busy inner city university hospital, with teaching and research responsibilities and are based in the adult side of the department.

We have an opportunity for a Research Coordinator to join our unique respiratory team at GSTT. Our research programme is at the heart of everything we do at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and plays a vital role in helping us to consolidate and grow on our position as one of the UK’sleading research Trusts.

This is a unique opportunity for a Research Coordinator to help grow the clinical trials service both in terms of volume and quality and support a novel multi-site study for patients with COPD.

The post holder will be involved in ensuring that any research undertaken within the department safeguards the wellbeing of the patients and is conducted according to Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP), Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trial) Regulations 2004 and Research Governance Framework.

The post holder will support the senior trials manager and RAPID trials manager to ensure the smooth day to day running of this novel multi-site research study.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the Study achieves its recruitment goals for a range of research studies by actively aiding clinical staff in enlisting patients. Additionally, the post holder will facilitate other site activities, which include coordinating site visits, managing intervention follow-ups, entering data, overseeing database operations, and organising protocol training as required.

The post holder will collaborate closely with a dynamic, multidisciplinary research team to execute this portfolio study.
