Job Summary

The role of the incumbent is to consolidate ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) data across the Group, including developing data consolidation worksheets and migrating data to a new system, while also conducting research and presenting findings on peer benchmarking for sustainability reporting.

Job Responsibilities

ESG Data Consolidation Across the Group:

• Gather ESG data from various units within the organization, followed by migrating the data to a new system.

Developing Worksheets for Master and Summary Views:

• Create worksheets containing calculation formulas and tables for master consolidation of data, providing a summary or consolidation view.

High-Level Figures Presentation:

• Present high-level figures such as monthly and yearly consumption, performance rates, etc., utilizing tables, graphs, or charts.

Peer Benchmarking on Sustainability Reporting:

• Conduct research within similar industry players and present findings on peer benchmarking related to sustainability reporting.

Requirements

• Tertiary University Undergraduate in data science, data analytics is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office, with advanced skills in MS Excel
• Ability to analyse and interpret information from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Ability to clearly present findings to colleagues or stakeholders.
• Knowledge of various research methods, including internet research, literature reviews, and data collection.

Job Description

• Perform accounts receivable functions, include daily checking as well as reconciliation of invoices, credit notes and payment before importing data into accouting system.
• Perform accounts payable functions, include prepare monthly payment to supplier.
• Monitor and follow up on disbursement and reconciliation.
• Follow up with supplier & customers’ correspondence emails on accounts related matters.
• Follow up on customers’ collections and perform reconciliation on customers’ outstanding balance.
• Manage office documentation, filing systems, and do record-keeping.
• Engage in month-end closing of accounts, reconciliation of accounts and preparation of management accounts and ensure accurate and timely closing of accounts.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and company secretary as required for all statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
• To prepare and submit quarterly GST return.
• Other Ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

• Preferably 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Highly organised and detailed-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong work ethic and team player.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheets.
