The Role

As the Nuclear Compliance Senior Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of nuclear compliance for the Sizewell C project. You will ensure that the project adheres to all applicable nuclear regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines. This role requires a deep understanding of nuclear regulations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive nuclear compliance program for Sizewell C.

ABOUT PPVAG NHS England is accountable commissioner for around 150 specialised services. Specialised services support people with a range of rare and complex conditions. They often involve treatments provided to patients with rare cancers, genetic disorders or complex medical or surgical conditions. They deliver cutting-edge care and are a catalyst for innovation, supporting pioneering clinical practice in the NHS. NHS England has in place strong patient and public involvement and engagement mechanisms as part of its national governance for the specialised commissioning function, providing advice on securing appropriate engagement and involvement in activities and fulfilling our legal duty to involve the public in commissioning. The Patient and Public Voice Assurance Group (PPVAG) works to offer strategic assurance to NHS England that effective mechanisms are in place to fully involve patients and the wider public in the development of the national specialised services portfolio, including our statutory duties as national commissioners to involve and consult. Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a leading housing repairs company in the North London area who are looking for a brand new Quality Assurance Manager to join their team.

The role of Quality Assurance Manager - FRA Audits will include:

• Quality verifying high risk FRAs from a desktop point of view
• Giving feedback to assessors and their line management on the FRA findings
• Plan, manage and implement audit review programmes, to assess Compliance performance against regulatory and service delivery requirements
• Ensure managers and staff are provided with clear and accurate assessments of their compliance status and actions required
• Lead on the Quality Assurance issue investigations in relation to Fire Risk Assessments to assess Compliance impact, root cause and resolution

Key Knowledge:

• Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification
• Fire Risk Assessment Qualification Level 4
• Experience of auditing would be advantageous
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Comprehensive knowledge of current FRA regulation and good practice principles
• This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
