About our role: As Admissions Officer you will implement and co-ordinate the processing of student applications to our University partners. You will be reviewing incoming applications, validate applicants' academic records and/or professional experience. Overseeing the day-to-day aspects of Admissions, liaising with various internal and external stakeholders on related matters.

accurate and that appropriate student data is recorded and maintained in compliance with partner Universities' accrediting bodies and UKVI regulations.
Provide clarifications to student's queries in a professional manner.
Work closely with recruitment team to ensure required documentation is received to process applications within set deadlines.
Communicate admissions decisions to applicants

Carrying out audit checks to ensure module leaders have made the resit assessment briefs available on their respective module pages by week 12.
Setting Up Groups on Schedular and the Submission Links for Modules that have Group Assessments
Carrying out audit checks to ensure that module leaders conducted Standardisation with their respective Teaching Teams before marking commences and reported Suspected cases of Academic Misconduct and reverting the outcome of the audit to the Heads of Year
Collating expense claim for sessional lecturers re: Standardisation, Marking & Moderation
Collating the Moderation forms from Solent and saving them on a folder
Collating the Summary of Adjustments from the Welfare Team and saving them on a folder
Update the BSc Course page with materials.

Applications are invited for a Quality Officer based within the NIHR Imperial Clinical Research Facility (ICRF) at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Hammersmith Hospital. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with significant clinical trials experience to help support the delivery of high quality research within the ICRF, a purpose built facility which specialises in early phase clinical research in patients and healthy volunteers.

The successful applicant will play a key role in the ICRF, promoting quality at all times and helping to support researchers and other staff to ensure that trials are properly managed in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and all applicable regulations.

This is a varied and exciting opportunity for an excellent communicator with sound judgement who is able to solve problems and manage their time effectively. Key aspects of the role include monitoring of clinical trials, database development, auditing and contributing to the development of ICRF systems and processes.

You should hold a degree or equivalent in a biomedical field and have extensive experience in clinical trials. In depth knowledge of GCP and research governance regulations is essential. You should be highly motivated, act with integrity at all times and be committed to quality and continuous improvement.

This is a fixed term appointment until 31 August 2027 initially.

The post holder will:

Introduction

Parliamentary Maintenance Services Team (PMST), within In House Services (IHS), consists of approximately 115 in-house staff and a large number of contractors who maintain the Parliamentary estates (Commons & Lords) buildings, engineering systems and furnishings in order to ensure a fully functioning, safe working environment, equipped for the demands of the 21st century.

The Role

The primary purpose of this role will be to ensure that the Parliamentary Maintenance Services Team complies with all relevant statutory maintenance regulations in addition to acting as Parliament's Responsible Person for Legionella management and acting as Parliaments' Deputy responsible person for asbestos management. The role will proactively identify issues, take corrective actions, make recommendations for resolution, escalating non-compliance issues promptly and appropriately.

Some of the responsibilities for this role include:

• Take responsibility for developing and ongoing monitoring of arrangements for effective Legionella Management including managing the Parliamentary Legionella Management plan and ensuring current operational practices reflect current Legislation and guidance.
• To assist with the management of the estate wide confined spaces and roof access management plans including ensuring appropriate safe working practices are in place.
• Carry out monthly audits to ensure that all statutory maintenance is identified and recorded on PMSTs work management system and monitored for 100% compliance, including investigation of escalation of non-compliances.

Skills and Experience

Essential Qualifications:

• Legionella Management (BOHS P901, P903) or a specific City and Guilds relating to legionella management.
• Asbestos Management (BOHS P405, S301, W504, P407, D407)

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

• Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of building services related to statutory legislation and its application and compliance regimes.
• Extensive experience and knowledge of managing asbestos and legionella issues in large buildings or estates.
• Proven ability to demonstrate experience in managing contracts including contract specification, procurement, and compliance monitoring.
• Ability to engage with a variety of people and adapt style and content to meet audience needs whilst upholding the values of equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Duties:

Action access control requests from the Intercom at varying entry points on the estate.
Maintain the daily occurrence log (DOB) to ensure all incidents and occurrences are up to date.

Direct any telephone enquiries or messages to the relevant person or department
Answer enquires received on the intercom and action access requests from various locations as required.
Action and communicate fire alarms as received in the fire command centre

Ensure officers are on post and that positions are not down manned without authorisation.
In the absence of the Area 3 Supervisor send out MINS or ENIPs as and when required with the parameters set out in operating procedures and as directed by the client.
Follow protocols for maintain the security of the Fire Command Centre and its facilities.
At all times the post holder must maintain and respect the security and sensitivity of the service. Comply with the adopted Code of Practice and service operational procedures at times, breaches of which will result in disciplinary action being taken.

Ensure accurate records are maintained of all equipment, including Radios, BWCs and ensure that all officers on the estate are correctly equipped.
Maintain the Fire Command Centre visitor logs
To monitor and operate communication with Security Officers (When required).
To manage and organise all onsite duties, so that operational needs are met.
Operationally assist and support the Security Team as required - Organise Security to attend to alarm activations and incidents on shift.
Ensure a thorough handover is conducted with the FCC officer of the previous shift.
