Job Description:

• Familiarity with warehouse management and manufacturing process
• Good knowledge on ISO System.
• To perform an on-site inspection of goods at suppliers’ premises to ensure goods meet our quality expectations.
• To evaluate & monitor supplier quality performance and provide feedback to the internal team.
• To define and finalize test and inspection protocol of product quality with the supplier.
• To communicate with suppliers on quality improvement actions to address product/packaging quality issues.
• To provide training to suppliers on product inspection/packaging when necessary.
• Coordinate with the internal team and supplier if there is any quality-related concern on product/packaging.
• To coordinate in-house / 3rd party lab product testing.
• To perform any other duties as assigned by Superior(s) from time to time.
• Manage and overseeing the organization’s Quality, QA Operation, Inspection, calibration, documentation, certification and etc.
• To execute, review and improve the current quality plan to achieve the product quality standard included those non-conformity are investigated and corrective & preventive actions are carried out effectively.
• To attend the customer complaints on product quality and perform the diagnosis to the problem encountered and resolved within the time frame given.
• To attend the external audit by customers and Certification Body / Notification Body.
• To perform supplier audit as per planned schedule and also involve in qualification audit for new supplier.
• Maintain and improve the quality management system to ensure compliance to ISO quality system Regulation requirement.
• Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, carry out testing, and compare the final product to the specifications.
• Recommend improvement measures to the fabrication process to ensure quality control standards are met.
• Guide the fabrication team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the products. Working with production, engineers & management teams to provide recommendations and solutions to quality issues.
• Responsible for the documentation for the inspection process, detailed reports and performance records.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

l To on-hold shipment / reject lot if goods not meeting to the quality expectation. Reject all the incoming raw materials fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department at the earliest.

Requirement :

• Candidate must possess at least a diploma in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Quality Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 5 years practical experience in quality managerial role in manufacturing environment.
• Preferable Senior Executive specialized in QA and experience in handling customer feedback or complaint.
• Proficient knowledge in ISO 9001:2015 requirement preferable.
• Experience in assisting QMR / DQMR and exposure to internal and external audit is an advantage.
• Data collection, strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities.
• Problem analysis and problem-solving.
• Applicant from manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop good working relationship at various levels and resolve complaints.
• Familiar with 8D, SPC and quality tools.
• Experience in the related field and knowledge of ISO are added advantage.

Job Description

Quality Control is responsible for making sure that products meet a set of standards. Their duties include examining incoming raw material, measuring the specifications of random items in each production run test the physical properties of rubber product with use of laboratory test equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality.
2. Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and waste and inputting data into quality database.
3. Work closely with production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.
4. To check and examine the incoming raw material as per ISO requirement.
5. To do test on physical properties of rubber product to every lot of order with use of laboratory equipment and record.
6. Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
7. Determining the causes of product defects and reworks.
8. Verifying all equipment is calibrated correctly.

Quality Control Skills and Qualifications:
