Purpose of the RoleThe Mechanical Project Supervisor will manage building and maintenance projects, providing technical specialist advice in Mechanical Building Services Engineering. Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular quality audits and address any areas where quality does not meet specified standards.
• Ensure compliance with the most recent CDM regulations, assuming the Principal Designer Role as required.

Communication and Coordination:

• Ensure effective communication and coordination between all disciplines, parties, and teams involved in projects.
• Represent the Service Manager at meetings and discussions as required.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Ideally, a HNC or equivalent level qualification in Mechanical Plumbing and Heating or Mechanical Building Services.
• Extensive experience in building services maintenance, ideally a track record of overseeing compliance, servicing, and projects involving heating, hot water generation, hot and cold water services, air conditioning services, and commercial kitchens.
• Experience of managing quarterly water hygiene control tasks and ensuring compliance with water hygiene and legionella regulations.
• Experience of managing and ensuring building compliance according to regulations and good practice.
• Sound knowledge of IT software applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to monitor progress and meet performance targets.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Extensive experience in construction and maintenance.
• Knowledge and experience of applying ISO 55000 International Standards for Asset Management and BS 8544.
• Proven application of effective project and programme management (Prince2 or similar).
• Extensive experience in providing technical direction in construction, technology, and building engineering services.
• Proven leadership in managing minor and major building works.
• Experience of managing and ensuring building compliance according to regulations and good practice.
• Confidence to act as the Head of Services and Director at meetings.
• Experience of managing professional staff, including staff development and performance management.
• Practical experience in staff selection and recruitment.
• Sound knowledge of IT software applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to monitor progress and meet performance targets.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Masters degree or post-graduate studies in a relevant field.
• Full membership of a recognised professional organisation (e.g., MIET, MCIBSE, MIMECH).
• Recognised qualification in the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

The role – Compliance Support Officer

As Compliance Support Officer you will be experienced in providing a high-quality compliance service whilst adhering to administrative and customer service processes. You will support the Contract Manager to monitor and manage the delivery of our asset compliance services, to ensure that all statutory compliance obligations and requirements across the Organisation are met and consistent with up-to-date legislation, health & safety, and best practice in relation to; regulatory servicing requirements, you will also contribute to customer safety, satisfaction, and value for money.

The successful candidate will work effectively with key internal colleagues and external partners and stakeholders to ensure they contribute to enabling the Organisation to fulfil all of its statutory and regulatory obligations.

What you’ll do

Support the Contracts Manager in managing the relevant servicing programme within the compliance areas (Fire, Electrical, Lifts, Legionella, Gas, Asbestos)
Manage access into customers’ homes.
Liaise with residents & staff to book in repairs and servicing visits.
First point of contact with staff and Residents for escalations
Monitor all work in progress and moving incomplete work through to completion.
Ensuring all required parts are ordered and booked to minimise delay to Residents.
Take responsibility for providing a comprehensive administration service to the Contract Manager
Ensure consistent and accurate information, and documents are recorded.
Help develop, implement, and monitor administrative processes to support efficient and quality service delivery.
Produce minutes from meetings.
What you’ll need

Experience of working within a compliance function within housing, preferably asbestos and water hygiene.
Experience of working to deadlines and targets
Ability to raise purchase/works orders promptly and accurately to enable works to be carried out and budgets to be monitored.
Technically proficient in Microsoft word and Excel and formulas
Customer service experience
Experience of building and maintaining relationships with contractors, Residents, and staff across different functions
Ability to produce minutes from meetings.
Ability to organise workload effectively and able to methodically work on own initiative.
Interpersonal skills to liaise with residents and provide responses to complaints.

As Fire Equipment Inspector you will complete Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting Testing and Fire, Health, and Safety checks around residential and commercial properties, in and around London and the surrounding areas ensuring they are full functional and compliant. You will be integral to ensuring

The role – Customer Relations (Complaints) and Quality Assurance Manager

As our Customer Relations (Complaints) and Quality Assurance Manager you’ll take direct ownership and oversee the performance of our centralised Customer Relations Team who manage customer complaints.

The successful candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced complaints manager who leads their team in a dynamic and responsive way that focuses on delivering excellent customer service and resolving complaints, whilst building trusted and valued relationships with customers. The manager will also take the lead on how we learn from complaints so that we’re reducing the root causes of complaints at source.

What you’ll do

You will:

Lead a team of Customer Relations (Complaints) Officers to respond to complaints in a responsive, dynamic and effective way in line with the Housing Ombudsman Complaint Handling Code and internal SLA’s.
Coach and develop a high performing team that has high levels of customer satisfaction and genuine customer centricity.
Produce reports and data that ensures the business have good oversight of complaints.
Drive continual service improvement by identifying and sharing lessons learnt from complaints to the wider business.
Deliver training to your team to improve the quality of investigations and communication whilst building a continuous improvement culture within the team.
Skills and experience we'd like you to have

We’re looking for someone who is:

An experienced, authentic manager who is a natural at working in a dynamic, fast paced and highly responsive way and with a high level of resilience.
Has proven experience of leading a customer complaints function
Experienced at coaching, providing feedback, motivating, and developing a high performing team.
Possesses good report writing skills and excellent data literacy with experience in using data and insight to drive service improvements and customer satisfaction.
Demonstrates strong communication skills with an excellent ability to produce comprehensive written resolution outcome letters and providing feedback to others to enhance theirs as well as deal with escalated customer complaints with empathy and build relationships with residents and stakeholders.
