The role holder will work effectively across the institution to develop, monitor and ensure robust institutional oversight and implementation of policies, systems and processes to assure the overall quality of our educational experience, thus ensuring that sectoral and regulatory body expectations for quality and standards are met.



The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the design, management and review of quality assurance processes in higher education, as well as a track record of leading change at an institutional or departmental level.

Role Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Medical, Homecare or Healthcare Compliance
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Excellent communication, people management and leadership skills.
• Tact and diplomacy with the ability to deal with difficult situations.
• Experience and track record of designing, implementing and delivering on successful strategic compliance projects.
• An inquisitive nature and high level of awareness is required to identify the root cause of problems, matched by the desire to locate innovative solutions.

• Information Management and Documentation: Design, develop, document, deploy, maintain, and support technology-based solutions to modernize and integrate the processes and systems for file and data management, work distribution, quality assurance, and statistical reporting. Participate in developing, writing, and revising of policies, processes, procedures, guides, manuals, forms, reports, and other documents in support of court operations. Ensure all applicable electronic and paper documents, guides, manuals, and forms are kept up to date.
• System Integration: Research, evaluate, and recommend integration solutions, equipment, and technologies based on Clerk's Office needs and to enhance operations, while integrating operations with more macro level court-wide initiatives. Work with staff to identify Clerk's Office system user requirements and gather and analyze data to determine system requirements. Develop, facilitate, and lead work and project teams and plans for systems integration tasks. Collaborate with court technical staff and contractors on developing, enhancing, evaluating, testing, and implementing automated solutions for quality systems within the Clerk's Office, including gathering and presenting operational requirements. Develop and perform system testing, validation, and documentation provided by other staff. Support end user troubleshooting, maintenance, and training on resulting quality systems.
• Systems Training: Develop, recommend, and facilitate presentations and training programs on quality assurance concepts and tools, quality systems, and Clerk's Office applications. Identify office quality systems training needs and requirements and assess the effectiveness of training.
• Operations Training Support: Collaborate with management and subject matter experts to develop and deliver office-wide operations training program in support of court operations, including coordinating, delivering, and evaluating internal and external training programs using traditional and current eLearning methods and software; evaluating and monitoring the effectiveness of operations training; evaluating training programs to ensure they are relevant to operational needs; and identifying, advising and recommending position-specific trainings needs to the management team.
• Deputy Clerk Responsibilities: Communicate and respond to judges, chambers staff, and management requests regarding court operations. Answer procedural questions for judges, staff, and the public. Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, to explain complex operational matters and concepts to individuals and groups with varying experience and backgrounds. Interact effectively with the public and staff, providing good customer and quality service and resolving difficulties efficiently while complying with regulations, rules, and procedures. Develop, implement, and maintain written procedures for assigned functions. Support office financial processes and court sessions, as needed. Comply with the Guide to Judiciary Policy, applicable Administrative Office policies and procedures, internal controls guidelines, and all local policies and procedures. Your focus: As Lecturer, you will be responsible for our students' progression and academic achievement up to level 7 (postgraduate). Planning, preparing, teaching modules both online and in the classroom using our innovative delivery methods and cutting-edge curriculum. You will provide guidance and support to our students with your knowledge and expertise, powering each student's potential.
Bring your experience: Applicants should have suitable and relative experience in teaching general programming (e.g., Python) and with at least one speciality such as Cloud Computing or Web Development or Mobile Development or HCI/UX Networking or IOT or Cyber Security or Data Science or Big Data or DBMS or Relational Programming or Artificial Intelligence or Knowledge Engineering or Deep Learning or Information Systems. Must hold a Masters degree or higher in Computer Science/IT or related subject areas. A teaching qualification and HEA membership would be distinct advantageous.
Significant experience in face-to-face teaching of higher education students in classes of varying sizes within a subject area taught by the faculty is required.
Ability to demonstrate hands-on technical competencies is essential.

Key Responsibilities
• Delivery of multiple testing projects to approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Responsible for working closely with external testing service providers to deliver test functions
• Responsible for assurance activities across all test deliverables such as review of test estimates, strategies, schedules, plans and completion reports.
• Management and influence of key testing stakeholders and project sponsors.
• Promote and instil test process excellence, efficiency, and reduced cost to project deployment.
• Manage testing vendors to quality commitments.
• Definition of Test Strategy for BI projects
• Performing a combined lead and test execution role on large pieces of project work as assigned by the Solution Design and Test Governance Manager.

Key Tasks
• Working with the Test and Project Manager to identify the streams of testing required for the Project - typically Vendor Testing, SIT & UAT and once in production CVT & PVT and helping to create an overall testing approach for the project
• Reviewing and signing off on TOM & TSR
• Running project defect meetings to ensure all defects raised either by any of the project streams are progressed in a timely fashion to ensure each testing stream remains unblocked and can close out on time
• For each testing stream for the project (ST, SIT, UAT, CVT & PVT) acquiring and analysing all relevant project documentation to determine testing coverage for each testing stream documented in the TOM format
• Liaising with business users, business analysts and developers to ensure that planned testing coverage meets their requirements
• For each testing stream for the project (ST, SIT, UAT, CVT & PVT) managing the test case creation (whether writing the test cases yourself, managing Test Analysts to do so or a combination of both) such that the test planning closes out on time and within the budget assigned
• For each testing stream for the project (ST, SIT, UAT, CVT & PVT) ensuring the test data and environment requirements are provided to the environment manager in a timely fashion to allow testing to begin on time
• For each testing stream for the project (ST, SIT, UAT, CVT & PVT) managing the test execution (whether executing the test cases yourself, managing Test Analysts to do execution or a combination of both) such that the test execution closes out on time and within the budget assigned
• Providing overall project test execution progress reporting using the assigned template daily including all testing streams
• For UAT specifically working with the business to manage the business execution on a day-to-day basis
• Logging any defects found during testing, escalate in accordance with set procedures and then work with build and design teams to rectify issues and then work to accept fixes back into the environment for re-execution.
• For each testing stream for the project (ST, SIT, UAT, CVT & PVT) ensuring all test information is tracked through-out execution and then summarising into a Test Summary Report using the appropriate template

Skills Required
• Previous successful test management of several projects including at least 5 years' experience as a Test Manager is essential
• Deep knowledge of the software Systems Development Lifecycle is essential
• Deep knowledge of test processes, practices and methods is essential
• A proven track record of managing and delivering successful test outcomes in a complex environment is essential
• Prior knowledge of software products from Netezza /AWS / SAS / Cognos/ Tableau is highly desirable
• Prior experience working in the Business Intelligence domain is highly desirable
• Prior experience working in the banking and insurance domain is desirable
• Prior experience working with JIRA and Confluence is desirable

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
