This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework at the power station.

The role

As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll ensure static, and rotation mechanical equipment is installed in the correct orientation:

• Perform inspections in accordance with the ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
• Liaise with client's representative for conducting of day-to-day inspection during the construction activities.
• Ensure installation of equipment is in compliance with ECS Code, drawings, vendor and code requirements with respect to; material, alignment, etc.
• Maintaining LTQR's as required during inspections ensuring all signatures on LTQR and ITP during inspection.

This role is full time, with a four day week every other week, and will be based onsite at HPC in Bridgwater. There is however a secondment allowance and accommodation available for anyone based more than two hours from the site.

Essential experience of the Quality Control Inspector:

• Experience as a mechanical QC inspector
• Experience working in a highly regulated industry (oil & gas, nuclear etc.)
• Experience with rotational equipment

Qualifications for the Quality Control Inspector:

Job Purpose / Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client as a Records support officer for HPC, you must ensure exceptionally high standards of Quality Records across the entire project. Records Support Officers (RSOs) play a critical role in the project's ability to maintain these standards, supporting Quality Management Leads (QMLs) in their oversight of Suppliers' Quality procedures and augmenting their capacity to perform records reviews, driving the Supply Chain to deliver Quality Records that are Right First Time, On Time, 100% of the time.

RSOs are managed by the Quality Records Branch (QRB); however, day-to-day tasks (such as LTQR Completeness Reviews) will be requisitioned by QMLs - see process below. When requisitioned to a QML's scope of work, said QML is responsible for ensuring that the RSO has the required information and orientation to perform the task. This includes but is not limited to: information on the contract scope; clear dictation of the task required; and access to records or wider documents that must be obtained.

Principle accountabilities

RSOs are primarily required for the following two activities:

• LTQR Completeness Reviews - by requisition of a QML: ➢ Perform completeness review on early revisions of a Lifetime Quality Record (e.g. EOMR) ➢ Perform completeness review on the final revision of a Lifetime Quality Record (e.g. EOMR) The RSO requisition process is managed via a centralised tracker hosted on the MS Teams platform. QMLs are expected to input all information regarding the document they require to be reviewed. The QRB management team will review requests holistically and assign RSOs to tasks on a prioritised basis. RSOs will then perform reviews and record all output information in the tracker.

• Quality Records Compliance Audits - by assignment of the QRB: ➢ Perform compliance audits pertaining to the performance of Supplier Quality Record procedures. The Quality Records Branch will deploy RSOs to complete compliance audits as required. QMLs may request contract prioritisation

Secondary responsibilities of an RSO

As an RSO becomes experienced in a particular scope of work, they may support with further tasks on behalf of a QML (see examples listed below).

QMLs must email the QRB DRAC Manager requesting explicit support for such activities.

• In-factory review of EOMRs (under project instruction, RSOs may be required to review records compilation at Supplier sites)
• Reviewing Supplier Partitioning Strategies
• Reviewing Progressive Delivery of LTQRs (assisting and supporting the QML as required with monitoring records delivery)
• Delivering Supplier Briefings and supporting Suppliers with LTQR specification application (on an exceptional basis)
• Delivery of Surveillance Plans (supporting QMLs as required and defined within the Surveillance Plan for a specific contract)
• Performing sample and correctness/deviation checks over LTQR metadata listed in Teamcenter
• Performing sample checks on forecast date accuracy and adherence as listed in Teamcenter

The Pre-Operations Quality Engineer provides support to the Pre-Operations programmes, including the Technical and Safety Support team, by providing support to, guidance of, and assurance of Pre-Operations quality activities, including supporting the development of quality plans, procedures, processes and other documentation which comply with applicable standards, regulations, legislation and industry best practice.

Principal Accountabilities

The Pre-Operations Quality Engineer supports, and is accountable to, the Pre-Operations Lead Quality Auditor by undertaking the following activities:

• Supports the development of an operational Quality Management System (QMS), including quality plans, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards
• Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure quality requirements are met and that risks are identified and mitigated.
• Monitor and report on quality metrics, highlighting areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as required.
• Compile information from Quality activities to assist with the production of periodic reports to the Technical and Safety Support Programme Manager.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Support the development of the HPC Integrated Management System in line with requirements of Nuclear Licence Condition 17 (Management systems) and IAEA Safety Standard GSR Part 2.

• Preferably experienced in Quality Management processes
• Preferably experienced in working with relevant UK regulatory standards, including, but not limited to ISO:9001
