Work Environment: The incumbent inspects and/or investigates both surface and underground mining operations as applicable, which is a very hazardous and stressful work environment surrounded by a high risk of exposure to potentially dangerous situations. In addition to the characteristically dark, wet, and cramped environment, underground mines contain noxious gases and fumes, and the danger of potentially explosive dust or gases, electrical fires, roof falls, and exposure to radiation.

The POI receives administrative direction from management in terms of broadly defined missions or functions. The APO provides policy assistance to field level Aviation Safety Inspectors (ASIs) on difficult or complex policy interpretations. The work is normally accepted without change. Completed work may be reviewed for adherence to FAA policy and for assurance that project requirements have been fulfilled.

ASIs at the FG-13 level issue certificates to and monitor (1) a large and complex aviation organization or (2)a number of smaller organizations that, together, are comparable in complexity to one large one. They are the primary contact point with the aviation organization(s). They may decide on issuance of the original certificates. They evaluate and decide upon proposals to change the authorized programs of the organizations. They continuously monitor the activities of organizations to determine whether they are following their authorized program, Federal regulations, and good safety practices.

FG-13 assignments are characterized by one or more of the following:

1.Multiengine turboprop, turbojet, or rotorcraft helicopter aircraft;

2. A variety of flight operations with diverse types of aircraft which may include turbine powered aircraft and unmanned aircraft; or

3. Novel and complex aviation operations.

FG-13 employees plan and conduct their assignments with substantial technical independence. They receive administrative and policy guidance from their supervisors and policy makers. They also obtain technical advice from higher-level inspectors who are experts who have overall program responsibility. Experienced Class 2 Driver Tramper required, working 3 to 4 nights out per week, working with our Worksop based client. This family run operation is a specialist general haulage company who are looking to add to their small team of drivers in order to cope with increasing workloads. The role itself will require you to carry out general trunking of various products to warehouses nationwide. This is not a multi drop role and minimal handball will be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation with moderate direction/supervision.

• Maintains organized and up-to-date compliance-related records.

Education & Experience Recommended

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Law, Business Administration, International Trade or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Advanced English Level
• Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in trade compliance, customs / global trade, internal audit or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.

Compliance & Process Manager - Source To Pay (Direct & Indirect)

Description -

Reporting to the Compliance Director for Source To Pay (Direct & Indirect), this role will be driving control transformation and oversight over the SOX controls across the Supply Chain owned areas. This includes overseeing and supporting Process Documentation (404 doc, visio, risk & control matrix), working with the Control Owners (Finance & Operations) to ensure SOX Documentation is current and per HP Standards, providing support and expertise to Control owners for remediation or new Key Controls,  understanding pain points and evaluating the process for opportunities with the Process and Control Owners. This role will also help drive control and process transformation by working with respective cross functional teams to implement scalable, automated, preventive controls while ensuring efficient end to end processes.

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Responsibilities:

• Provides complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business (Source to Pay both Direct  & Indirect), typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
• Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.
• Provides guidance and oversight to Control and Process Owners to complete SOX end to end process documentation, using HP standards
• Identifies opportunities and influences partners on control improvements through automation,  rationalization and process changes, driving scalable, effective and efficient processes
• Prepares and reports out on SOX Status for Source to Pay- Direct & Indirect (could involve creating a reporting dashboard
• Provides compliance training and guidance as needed
• Leads business initiatives, typically leading analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design.
• Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross- functional planning processes.
• Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.

Education and Experience Required:

• First level university degree with a focus in accounting or business; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
• Typically 6+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
• Typically experienced in more than one finance function
• Ability to work across  time zones

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent understanding of accounting principles, compliance & controls, with advanced knowledge in one area.

Senior Software Quality Engineer - EU Data Center

HP is looking for a Senior Software Quality Engineer to drive forward the quality strategy including test automation and best testing practices within an agile team.  The right candidate will have strong technical skills and have a passion for driving technical solutions that ensure quality of products from physical products to cloud solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement test cases, both manual and automated, to ensure quality of software solutions
• Implement and run manual tests to ensure complete quality of software applications and solutions
• Design, build and improve test infrastructure and automation framework
• Develop test tools to enable SQA to be able to analyze results and execute tests efficiently
• Designs quality assurance and test processes end-user applications and systems
• Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application
• Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding test status, project progress, and issue resolution
• Represents the software quality assurance team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related engineering fields
• Typically 5+ years experience

Knowledge and Skills:

• Demonstrated experience with designing test cases and processes
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Python programming
• Experience and/or strong understanding of IoT principles
• Experience with applications that interface with USB and Bluetooth connected devices
