About the role

We are looking for a customer focussed Compliance Investment Manager to join our growing Asset Strategy and Delivery team. You will play a key role in leading PCH’s investment approach to ensure our residents homes remain safe, warm, affordable and sustainable.

Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who:

Has experience of mechanical and electrical and compliance procurement and contract management.
Has extensive knowledge of Electricity at Work Regulations and BS7671 or equivalent gas qualifications
Has experience of contract preparation, documentation and supervision in compliance with the Procurement Act.

St Austell Brewery is recruiting an experienced Credit Control Manager who will have oversight and accountability for the credit control activities of the Company. The successful candidate will lead our credit control team and collaborate with wider business stakeholders, to ensure all teams are aligned in their objectives to minimise bad debt whilst maximising profit.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing strategies to increase successful collections on outstanding debt and improve efficiency in ways of working
• Establishing effective partnerships with customers and internal stakeholders across the business
• Hosting regular debt review meetings with key stakeholders to ensure business leaders have visibility of the debt profile of their area and ensuring a collaborative approach to resolving problematic accounts
• Analysing data and preparing detailed reports on the status of credit and collections, highlighting key metrics and areas of concern
• Lead, co-ordinate and mentor the credit control team, setting clear objectives and performance standards and conducting regular team meetings
• Managing complex account queries and resolving or escalating problems as they arise
• Monitoring outstanding debts, proactively contacting customers to ensure timely payments and negotiating debt repayment plans
• Oversight for assessing creditworthiness of new and existing clients to minimise financial risk

About You

• Strong experience in credit control with substantial experience in a management or supervisory role
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong excel skills and ability to work with large data sets
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Effective communicator
• Experience using ERP accounting software

Main purpose and scope of job

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for customer and revenue growth with the Safeguard Business division. Including delivering against annual sales targets, contract growth and customer retention.

Budget Responsibilities: Annual Revenue

Duties and key responsibilities

Responsible for developing the sales function, coordinating sales activity, and implementing selling techniques that allow the business to meet and surpass its annual revenue targets.
Develop and implement sales plans that expand the contracted customer base, to achieve sustainable growth.
Ensure that Safeguard adopts and pursues a positive and progressive culture regarding contracted revenue growth.
Build and promote strong, long lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
Identify emerging markets and market shift whilst being fully aware of new product.
Own, recruit and set objective targets for the sales function. Coaching and performance monitoring of the sale team.
Working with the Division Managing Director, identify growth opportunities to expand the Safeguard business in the South of England.
Be a key senior member of the Safeguard management team.

Experience

Proven track record of selling and be self-motivated with a positive outlook on targets.
Experience in developing and implementing sales management systems with the Pest industry.
Experience of facilitating and communicating with customers, with the aim of bringing about improvements to service and deepening the customer relationship.
Ability to build effective relationships with numerous stakeholders.
Strong people and influencing skills.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
