Your Role
We are looking for someone to join our established Pest Control Team in a job sharing role with an existing Team Member, working around the North of our Borough.
About You
A Pest Control qualification BPCA level 2 is desirable but we will consider candidates who are willing to train and study to attain this qualification within an agreed time-frame. In-house and refresher training will be given to the successful candidate as well as health & safety and risk management training courses, to invest & develop learning opportunities.
Previous pest management and environmental cleansing experience is essential along with a willingness to support colleagues, working with Residents and Communities within SMBC to maintain a clean, happy and pest free Borough.
We are looking for a confident, calm and competent person who can follow instructions as well as use their initiative to inspect, treat and advise the customer of the treatments used as well as the measures to prevent further pest problems.
Good Customer skills, record keeping and effective communication are key attributes as well as being fit and agile, a clean driving licence and able to use own vehicle to move to the various jobs and appointments booked for in the day.
