Duration: Rolling 12 months
Day Rate: 120-140 per day PAYE

Role Overview
The Quality Arrangements Support will be required to support the Quality Arrangement Lead to ensure the quality management arrangements and requirements are clearly and correctly communicated for effective deployment by the organisation and its supply chain.
The role will entail managing the Quality Department arrangement landscape review process to ensure the 95% compliance target is maintained.
The position requires an individual who is comfortable as the visible champion for quality management arrangements, who will positively support the drive for a quality across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the definition and maintenance of the detailed quality management arrangements for deployment across the HPC Project, based on nuclear industry and major project best practice.
- Support the definition and maintenance of the EDF and HPC Policy documents for deployment across the HPC Project, based on nuclear industry and major project best practice.
- Support the Quality Arrangement Lead in assessing the effectiveness of the implementation of the quality arrangements across the HPC Project.
- Support the Quality Arrangement Lead to resolve issues relating to the implementation of quality and to bring about improvements, and support others in these actions.
- Support the Quality Arrangement Lead to participate in Level 4 meetings with the regulators relating to Quality Management Arrangements.
- Communicate with key stakeholders to pre-empt pending Quality Arrangement updates and chase up overdue submissions.
- Support the Quality Arrangement Lead to ensure standardisation of the Quality Arrangements across the Quality Department Team.
- Management of the Quality Arrangement Tracker to ensure 95% compliance maintained.
- Supporting the Quality Arrangement Lead with the management of Electronic Documents and Records Management System (EDRMS) review and approval process.
- Liaising with the EDRMS Document Controller to ensure arrangements are correctly deleted/superseded.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- A basic understanding of quality management best practice for deployment by large, complex and contract-led organisations.
- Confident and articulate communicator, able to prepare presentation material, and comfortable addressing individuals and small groups.
- Act as a strong advocate for best practice, able to support and defend practical deployment and solutions, whilst remaining open to the ideas of others.
- A clear and considerable understanding of quality management best practice for deployment by large, complex and contract-led organisations.
- Experience of interfacing with project teams and with supply chain organisations.
- Analysis of data, preparing reports and making recommendations.
- The ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A team player who recognises how their position impacts and influences others.
- Pro-active and flexible, being prepared to plan and work on own initiative.
- Fluent in English language.
- Basic experience of implementing a variety of quality related solutions.
- Pro-active and flexible, being prepared to plan and work on own initiative.
- Proven experience of interaction and resolving issues with a wide range of stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment.
Desirable
- Knowledge of the nuclear sector, ideally new build.
- Knowledge & understanding of nuclear site license conditions.
- Ability to speak French is advantageous.
- Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI).
- Commercial exposure, especially supplier management.
- Experience of interfacing with project teams and with supply chain organisations.
- Experience of interacting with regulators e.g., the ONR.
- Proven leadership experience working in a quality assurance/control environment within the nuclear industry or other relevant safety critical industry.
