About our role As a member of the Registry team, you will be responsible for all aspects of student data recording, monitoring of data, University assessments and student change of circumstances. Providing high quality information advice and support service to students, colleagues and external partners.
Are you able to problem solve, make decisions, where attention to detail, ability to multi-task and have good Excel & IT skills are a must? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
Training will be provided and if needed we'll brush up your excel skills too. Please note our role is mainly operational and process led with very little student F2F contact.

Undertake key aspects of student administration, including: the generation of reports, processing student re-enrolments, managing the Registry inbox, and general enquiry handling
To provide a high-quality information advice and support service to students o
To contribute to the student registration function including amendments to student data and reconciliation of student data
To liaise with University Partners ensuring accuracy of records across internal and external systems
To prepare and organise the University Examination periods
To assist with the set up and maintenance of data within Quercus
To process student change of circumstances in line with set guidelines
To contribute to the development of internal processes and procedures

As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the QA Higher Education's Financial Reporting and financial controls including group and subsidiary statutory accounts, and JV statutory accounts, VAT return submission, corporation tax submission, internal controls and other regulatory reporting.

Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place and functioning effectively. Review any issues arising and draft and implement mitigating controls and procedures for all areas of accounting and reporting.
Assist with any changes to group structure such as incorporation of new entities to ensure these are structured correctly and bank accounts and systems are in place in a timely manner for their operation.
Reports to other parties as required.

Bring your experience:
Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA).
Previous experience in a role with accounting, compliance and auditing responsibilities.
Evidence of having monitored financial and operating processes and controls and provided recommendations for improvement.

The role
In this role you will offer guidance and support to neurodiverse or disabled learners on our programmes to enable them to achieve their aspirations and goals. You will deliver effective teaching, learning and support to learners for qualifications and their individual needs

The responsibilities

• Create individual support plans tailored to learner's individual needs, considering the results of initial & diagnostic assessments.
• Motivate, enable and drive learners to achieve their goals through outstanding teaching and learning

Mental Health Practitioner to Students within Higher Education
Birmingham, Fulltime & Permanent Role

About our role: As Mental Health Practitioner (and in collaboration the welfare team, disability teams and student relations team), you will have the experience and knowledge to contribute to the delivery and development of a range of services including individual, managing a caseload, and sometimes group work, to provide a professional advisory service for staff and students, internal or external referral, and curation of psycho-educational or self-help resources.
As Mental Health Practitioner you will assist and support the Clinical Lead in promoting, developing, and maintaining a safe and ethical wellbeing service within QA Higher Education.
This will include looking at key times throughout the academic year and proactively planning and organising events and interventions to promote wellbeing activities.
Our role is Monday to Friday business hours with very occasional evening work (6pm finish).

Manage a caseload of undergraduate and postgraduate students with mental
health difficulties and/or disabilities, delivering focused therapeutic interventions both in person and remotely, and co-ordinating support across a range of services to optimise their student experience. Provide targeted support where appropriate at periods of transition e.g. pre-entry, suspense and placements.
Establish effective working relationships with external service providers, (GPs, specialist mental health services, social care), to facilitate students' access appropriate medical support. Promote timely, effective information sharing and collaborative working.
Support in the delivery of all welfare services, this can be on campus, via the phone or email.
Provide urgent triage, assessment and robust, collaborative risk management interventions to students experiencing a mental health crisis, referring to and liaising with internal and external service providers as appropriate.
Provide comprehensive mental health assessments to students presenting with significant mental health needs and provide appropriate advice, signposting and referral on to additional services.

Bring your experience:

Business partner with internal stakeholders including the Income Team, Agents payables Registry, FP&A to validate data.

Fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA accountant.

Senior Funding Compliance Specialist (Apprenticeship)
Location: Remote

The Senior Funding Compliance Specialist role reports into the Compliance Manager and will operate as a senior funding and data specialist within the team supporting with day to day compliance and ILR data management activities. They will also be responsible for leading on all funding and ILR data queries and the management of The Apprenticeship Service (TAS/DAS) data mismatches (Dlocks).

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing compliance checks and ILR data for starts, withdrawals, breaks, gateways, achievements and other changes of circumstances.
• Pro-actively tracking key activities and producing reports/dashboard where required
• Dealing with complex funding and ILR data queries to identify issues and work with stakeholders to achieve timely resolution
• Providing advice and guidance to internal colleagues on funding rules and learner compliance queries.
• Providing technical support and guidance on queries associated with The Apprenticeship Service (TAS/DAS) for both external employers and internal colleagues.
• Managing and reporting on data mismatches (Dlocks) and working with internal stakeholders to resolve in a timely manner
• Running ILR submissions and working with ESFA produced ILR reports (Submit Learner Data portal)
• Managing and monitoring data queries highlighted within the Funding Rules Monitoring (FRM) reports

About you:

• Experience of working with apprenticeship funding and ILR data within a large DfE funded apprenticeship provision
• In-depth knowledge of the apprenticeship funding rules, ILR data and audit requirements
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of The Apprenticeship Service (TAS/DAS) and managing Dlocks
• Working knowledge of MIS systems preferably Maytas, Bud and Aptem or similar ILR system
• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with large complex data with confidence
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and able to multi-task and effectively prioritise work load
• Work independently on own initiative

Are you a recent graduate or an administrator looking for a new challenge in a rewarding higher education business. Ideally you will have administration experience within the education sector (preferred) or within a busy back-office function where organisation, attention to detail and communication are key.
About our role: As Compliance Officer you will be responsible for processing CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) requests for partner institutions, checking the applicant documentation and maintaining accurate records in line with the University's and UKVI requirements, ensuring that a student-focused service is delivered to all applicants.
Good IT, Word and Excel skills a MUST

Process CAS requests for University Partners from high and low risk regions.
Conduct financial and compliance checks for all CAS requests.
Check CAS statements for errors, requesting sponsor notes as required.
Format CAS statement and send to student.
Conduct Compliance Interviews
Ensure the data on CAS Shield is correct Escalate complex cases to the CAS.
Collate data for intake reviews to streamline and improve the CAS process.
Contact applicants directly to request missing documents needed to request a CAS Monitor the QAHE CAS shared email inbox.
Assist Admissions officers with QAHE Compliance queries.
Attend compliance meetings with partner institutions as and when required.

Bring your experience:
Previous experience in administration.
Experience of multi-tasking and delivery to agreed timescale.
Ability to deal with high volume of data.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Attention to detail.

Your role is to be responsible for all funding and compliance protocols for Degree/Higher Apprenticeships
You will own the end-to-end administration journey to ensure compliance with ESFA/DfE funding and audit requirements whilst being mindful of university partner regulations

Job Description:
You'll support the DA Compliance Team Manager with the day-to-day management of tasks, reporting, supporting process and system improvements, projects as well as driving best practice and operational improvements across the wider business.

• Conduct all internal processes and protocols in accordance with agreed timescales
• Complete eligibility and funding checks for all apprenticeship applicants in line with current ESFA/DfE funding and internal requirements and confidently challenge applications when required.
• Ensure all learner ILR's and personal records are accurate and maintained from the start to the end of the learner journey in accordance with current ESFA/DfE Funding Rules
• Manage the prompt resolution of all ILR errors and funding DLOCKS, highlighting trends to the DA Compliance Team Manager
• Process and track apprentice withdrawals, suspensions, reinstatements, achievements and change of circumstances
• Conduct regular 'dips' into learner records to provide compliancy advice and improvement actions/sharing of best practice to sales and delivery leads
• Represent the DA Compliance Team Manager at meetings when required
