Role purpose

Our Business Intelligence teams work as trusted advisors to leading Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, private market investors and law firms across the region. We help our clients understand and manage a variety of business risks, identifying and evaluating growth drivers, enabling them to succeed in complex environments. Your work as a member of the team will include managing multinational pre-transaction due diligence, partner assessment and compliance due diligence, assisting with client development in GCNA, and identifying sources of reputational and integrity risk.

Role tasks and responsibilities

Project work

• Act as Project Leader for due diligence projects, managing multiple projects at any one time, having close involvement in the development of report findings, analysis and structure and managing all aspects of project administration

Control Risks' Digital Risks practice works with our global clients to anticipate and mitigate threats, whilst harnessing digital opportunities to drive innovation and growth.

This APAC based role primarily involves delivering analysis of cyber threats and their implications to all business sectors and to public sector organisations and working with global and regional resources to support winning new engagements. The analyst will support delivery of strategic threat assessments and lead on delivery of specific threat consulting engagements, such as response to client subject matter requests and focused threat assessments. The role will also require the analyst to support our tactical CTI team in delivering investigations and responsive intelligence to our Incident Response team. The role requires the candidate to produce, enhance and contribute to content published on our cyber threat intelligence platform. The role will also need to participate in the winning and delivery of bespoke projects for clients, as well as support regional and global marketing activities.

The Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst can be based in Control Risks' offices in Singapore, Sydney, or Hong Kong. Applicants will be currently resident in the locations for which they are applying.

Responsibilities:

Intelligence product delivery and scoping:

• Responsible for proactively collecting and analysing information from all sources to produce actionable intelligence for our bespoke clients.
• Providing analysis of all threat actors – nation state, cybercriminal, activist – from a technical capability assessment perspective and from an intent and motivation perspective.

Control Risks is currently looking to hire a Head of Security to support a global banking client and assume responsibility for the physical security of the client's offices and other commercial premises within Hong Kong.

Dispute strategy and management

• Lead GCNA disputes work including proposals, project management, and client briefings.

This role focuses mainly on project billings and posting of subcontractors’ & consultants expenses for a few business service lines on a day to day basis. Month end intercompany settlement process also forms part of this job scope.

Accounts Receivable

Accounts Receivable responsibility begins from the moment a project is set up until the debt is collected. Tasks include but are not limited to

• Check that projects are correctly set up in the system
• Complete vendor set up forms as and when required by our clients
• Generate work-in-progress/timesheet reports to support invoicing requirements
• Raise invoices to clients in an accurate and prompt manner
• Submit clients’ invoices on online portals eg Ariba, Coupa etc

Control Risks is seeking an experienced candidate to join its rapidly growing Cyber Protect team in our key Hong Kong market. This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly capable and truly global team of cyber experts and to play a critical part in shaping the Cyber Protect offering.

The role requires an initiative-taking and diligent client-facing individual who has experience in winning and delivering cyber strategy advisory work for global clients and projects.

The successful candidate will expand our capability in Hong Kong and work closely with the Principal leading our Digital Risks practice in the Asia Pacific region and our regional leadership in the Greater China region. Key responsibilities:

Delivering client projects

• Programme and project management of digital risk advisory engagements (e.g., senior stakeholder engagement, programmes scoping, managing project/programme budget, hiring key resources, delivering against an agreed plan, issue management).
• Delivering strategy and transformation projects (e.g., helping clients to define and develop robust and future-proofed digital security strategies, conducting risk assessments, supporting cyber due diligence projects etc.).
• Supporting clients as a senior advisor throughout their digital security transformation.

Essential

• Considerable experience of cyber security risk management within an established consultancy.
• Ability to see security from the attacker’s point of view and articulate enterprise risks to senior non-technical audiences.
• Proven experience in reviewing, designing and implement cyber security strategy projects for clients.
• Proven experience in delivering risk assessments against industry standards (e.g.NIST CSF and ISO27001).
