Business System Design

• Drive end to end responsibility of Global process standardization in accordance with business needs and best practices.
• Ensure that processes are managed consistently across regions, delivering efficiencies and cost savings.
• Alignment of the business process with the agreed Harsco business systems and Oracle ERP fundamental principles.

Processes/Drives Continuous Improvement initiatives for accounting processes

• Ensure SOP created for all processes in all locations at country level and at centralized Shared Services.
• Managing repository and centralisation of all SOP globally
• Ensure deployment of SOP is harmoniously embedded in the Oracle implementation process (training, sharing and explanation)
• Monitor global processes, ensuring optimal uptake of system automation
• Ensure continuous update of processes globally – communicating with all the finance /accounting and operations stakeholders - proposing/assessing improvements
• Ensure that the Global Chart of Account and statutory accounts are correctly updated
• Champion the efficient and effective use of Oracle ERP.

Project management

• Communicating and Monitoring of the business stream tasks timely delivery (Oracle implementation)
• Ensuring proper deployment of modification or enhancement of the processes (post Oracle implementation)
• Close collaboration with the Shared Services / Regional Finance Directors / Oracle IT Team / Coordination with the procurement and asset maintenance departments

I. Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide support in the form of data analysis and model development to enable the category manager in their sourcing efforts
• Extracts data from varying ERP systems
• Provides data cleansing, validation, and structuring for sourcing initiatives
• Monitor suppliers and business owners for compliance with organization policies and procedures, and escalate/remediate as necessary
• Assign and maintain in-house developed Taxonomy specific to the business

Overview: The Procurement Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the company’s procurement activities to Support Transactional, Data management, and strategic initiatives. 
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Category Management Support:

• Work assignments are in alignment with the specific category manager initiatives.
• Collect, clean, and analyze procurement data to identify trends, by supplier, category, business locations, etc.,
• Support the procurement team in making data-driven decisions by providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement data needs and provide relevant analysis.

Master Data:

• Create, update, and maintain master data records in the company’s systems.

Supplier Diversity: 

• Maintain, update, and publish the Supplier Diversity Reports monthly.

Performs detailed analysis of the market to ensure that appropriate and sustainable supplier(s) are selected for the stake holders

Establishes saving targets for BU's based on historical and projected spend

Accurately tracks savings in sharepoint to ensure that it can be reported in a timely manner as required by Procurement management

Drives costs savings in the supply base via the appropriate competitive vehicle

Stakeholder Business Partnering

Develop and Manage GIC and INDIA stakeholder relationships with the BU's to understand strategy  and ensure that requirements are met and accurately reflected
