Job Description
Position Overview:
Primarily responsible for the organization, accuracy, and housekeeping of the spare parts stock rooms. Daily duties will include incrementing and decrementing stock levels in inventory management system (SAP), maintaining the SAP parts system, receiving and stocking incoming parts, cycle counts on selected critical parts, ordering parts from vendors, following up and ensuring that ordered parts arrive on schedule, recording Repair and Maintenance expenditures made in the parts area, and ensuring the cleanliness of the stock room in accordance with GMP and AIB regulations.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Demonstrates capabilities and proficiency in the following categories:
Computer literate (SAP, MS Excel, MS Word)
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills (with internal customers and external vendors), written and verbal
Attention to detail, ability to follow through on projects and assignments
Some knowledge of GMP, AIB and OSHA safety regulations as they pertain to chemical and part storage.
Coordinates with vendors to ensure quality materials at lowest cost are being procured per Amcor policy Tracks all orders and resolves any issues regarding the purchase Monitors spending and provides management with spending reports as required. Effectively communicates with all internal and external customers. Will participate in total physical inventories and cycle counts to assure accuracy of stock. Will assist in developing cross-reference for mechanics (helping locate parts). Will work with accounting in obtaining Purchase Orders for parts and services ordered. Will be responsible for completing all pertinent paperwork and documentation. Will be responsible for the timely execution of action plans in his/her area. Will be responsible for maintaining all MSDS records for all chemicals and products in the facility. Must work with mechanics in organizing and maintaining stock room area. Will supervise and direct the storeroom clerks.

Safety
Must attend all required Safety/OSHA training classes. Must adhere to all Safety Rules as posted in employee handbook and in the plant. All employees must adhere to the Amcor “No Injuries Program”.
Quality
Must be GMP/HACCP/Food Security trained.
Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods of time. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to lift, bend and twist repetitively during the shift. Must be able to coordinate movements quickly and accurately in a high output production area. Must demonstrate ability to work effectively in a high-quality, fast-paced work environment. Must willingly accept any other duties/changes to position to fit the needs of production as requested by Management. Must wear all Personal Protective Equipment and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices as mandated by plant policy.
