Our warehouse is fast paced and forms an essential part of the depot in delivering the right products to our customers on time. We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Team Manager to support and facilitate the success of the warehouse.

The purpose of this role is to lead a team of Warehouse Operatives on a day-to-day basis ensuring productivity targets and safe working methods are met.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Understand the agreed requirements of internal and/or external customer and deliver on these requirements
• Communicate the required standards to the Warehouse team and ensure they are fully understood
• Train and coach Warehouse staff to achieve set standards
• Monitor team performance and behaviour, where necessary take corrective action to achieve agreed standards
• Complete new starter 3/7/11 reviews and contribute to the decisions on confirmation of employment
• Motivate team members by communicating performance targets, areas for improvement, giving praise and recognition for achievement or improvement
• Ensure employees understand company policies and procedures
• Be visible in leading the team and area in maintaining and improving safety standards with the objective of zero accidents
• Take appropriate measures to minimise stock loss and cost of credits in their area
• Maintain standards of housekeeping and hygiene in line with depot quality and safety standards
• Understand and comply with the relevant food safety legislation, ensuring team members comply with and understand the requirements in which they have been trained
• Understand and implement the Disciplinary and Grievance policies, through participating in Disciplinary/Investigatory meetings acting as Chair/Investigating Officer as necessary
• Actively seek to solve Grievance issues promptly and wherever possible informally before the formal procedure is invoked
• Manage the demands of the shift, dealing with problems that may arise in a professional, effective manner
• Identify staff training and development needs
• Monitor morale levels within the team and communicate any concerns to your Manager
• Monitor the administration of payroll and attendance recording, to ensure accuracy and issues or trends are highlighted
• Adopt a flexible approach to working shifts including weekends and Bank Holidays to deliver an efficient and effective service to customers in line with any operational requirements
• Develop positive relationships with colleagues in all departments and the management team
• By words and actions, promote a positive, achievement orientated and respectful work environment with your team and colleagues

Working Hours:

40 hours per week working 4 days on and 4 days off which may include weekends and public holidays.

Key Role:

Organize, inventory, and maintain corporate and government property in a warehouse or field environment. Execute receiving, storage, distribution, and shipping of warehoused material in compliance with established procedures. Verify that orders are accurately filled and properly packaged. Prepare records, manifests, and bills of lading. Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, rental trucks, and forklifts. Execute logistic support functions, including maintenance of data using manual and electronic information management systems, production of reports regarding logistics support, receiving, shipping, warehousing, inventory, and custody of government furnished equipment. Verify the correctness of incoming shipments. Check for damaged goods, ensure that goods are properly identified for internal routing, and prepare and maintain records of goods received.

Basic Qualifications: 

• 8+ years of experience with logistics warehouse procedures and processes

• Experience with inspecting all materials upon receipt for damage, materiel safety, and product shelf life and managing government-furnished warehouse space

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to provide supply support for receiving, inspecting, labeling, issuing, and temporary storage of equipment and property

• Ability to supervise warehousing operations

• Ability to manage inventory and make recommendations on stock levels

• Ability to work in a non-climatized environment and around loud noises and hazardous materials

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of experience with warehouse operations in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with using Marine Corps or other integrated logistics and financial management solutions

• Experience in working with officers and non-commissioned officers in a military service

• Experience with military ground supply, logistics, or maintenance management MOS

• Knowledge of quality control audit processes

Working with minimal supervision, the Assistant Store Leader supports the Store Leader in all facets of store operations. Using elements of GameStop's buy, sell, trade, and reservation business model, the Circle of Life, the Assistant Store Leader develops and promotes a sales culture by creating individualized and complete solutions for every guest and providing outstanding guest service experiences through professional conduct and shared passion for gaming. • Observe associate performance, provide timely and appropriate feedback to Store Leader, and address unsatisfactory performance as directed, ensuring all store associates are aligned with company and store guest service expectations.
• Provide timely and appropriate recognition and feedback to all store associates concerning performance; regularly input written feedback for each store associate into Workday / HR service management system in partnership with the Store Leader.
• In partnership with the Store Leader, ensure store associates have completed all onboarding, job training, and compliance training PRIOR to opening or closing a shift on their own. Associates should know all aspects of their jobs, including all company/store policies, inventory control and loss prevention practices including scam awareness, safety best practices, financial protocol, and ethical responsibilities.
• Along with the Store Leader, schedule store associates ensuring that the scheduling guidelines are followed, and all breaks and meals are accounted for as required. Supervise staffing levels to achieve optimum guest service at all times and ensure that best‐in‐class guest service is consistently provided.
• Approve payroll, make time edits, and verify that store associates are paid for all time worked.
• Ensure that all areas of the store, including restrooms, are clean, organized, and merchandised per company guidelines and all store fixtures and equipment are in proper working order.
• Ensure Omni-Channel orders are fulfilled and shipped daily.
• Protect company assets through effective inventory control and loss prevention practices including scam awareness, safety best practices, and delivering bank deposits as required; visually inspect associates' packages and/or belongings at store closing or at the end of a shift as appropriate. Communicate any concerns or issues to the Store Leader.
• Support store team in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete required administrative and operational duties.
• Perform store inventory counts, stock/restock merchandise on shelves and fixtures, and move product from the stock room to the front of the store to ensure that all products in the store are represented, organized, and alphabetized on the sales floor.
• Count, balance, and reconcile daily business transaction totals correctly and accurately in the POS system. Ensure that all closeout paperwork for daily business transactions and bank deposit slips are completed correctly and accurately; ensure store has sufficient cash and change for sales transactions; make bank deposits daily or per established guidelines.
• Verify all shipments for discrepancies/shortages and record any discrepancies in the POS system; conduct merchandise counts/inventories and communicate discrepancies to Store Leader/District Leader.
• Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls accurately and promptly, ensuring that all boxes are properly labeled and include packing lists.
• Maintain awareness of associate and guest safety; identify and immediately address potentially hazardous situations. Report any injuries promptly per company guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining store records/files in a neat and organized manner; help ensure that manuals are up to date.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Guest Advisors and Senior Guest Advisors in absence of Store Leader.
• Consistently adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, all policies and procedures in the Associate Handbook and the Code of Standards, Ethics & Conduct.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must present proof of ability to legally work in the United States.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Working with minimal supervision, the Assistant Store Leader supports the Store Leader in all facets of store operations.
