General Landscape & Grounds Operative - St Austell
Our client is looking for a General Landscape and Grounds Operative to join their team working near St Austell.
Responsibilities will include:
Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging.
Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
Irrigate to ensure proper hydration
Use hand tools and power tools to perform various gardening tasks
Assist with grounds keeping duties such as raking leaves and removing debris
Monitor and control pests and diseases
Experience:
Previous experience in gardening or landscaping is preferred but not required
Knowledge of different plants and their care requirements
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in horticulture
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Work with other team members to complete gardening projects
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain clean and organized working areas
Essential information:
A valid CSCS card
Driver’s license preferred due to location.
There will be a pre-employment drugs and alcohol test as well as a safety critical medical.
Hours of work:
Monday – Friday , days shifts, ongoing work
Rate of Pay:
£11.50 per hour
These will be PAYE positions so you will benefit from:
Accrued Holiday Pay from day one
Pension contributions (after a qualifying period)
Weekly Pay
No Umbrella payments or fees
Only Tax and National Insurance deductions and this will be shown on your payslip
