We have a great opportunity for a Domestic Housekeeper to join us at Briarwood! About Briarwood Our assessment unit supports older adults with a diagnosis of dementia or dementia like symptoms, who are experiencing behaviours that challenge. Our team of experienced Staff Nurses and Support Workers assess individuals with differing diagnoses of dementia such as early onset Alzheimers disease, Korsakoffs dementia and vascular dementia. The assessment process is usually 12 weeks, with the team working closely with the individual, their families and carers, and other professionals involved in their care. The unit is fast paced but highly rewarding, determining the level of need an individual requires whatever stage they are at, in their dementia journey. Key responsibilities As a domestic housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that a high level of cleanliness is maintained within Briarwood. You will: Provide a cleaning service to each service users property that is required, ensuring a quality of clean and maintaining all health and safety aspects. Report back on any maintenance issues found at relevant properties to the administration team, to support with a high quality service. Undertake storage of cleaning materials, ensuring COSHH documentation is correctly stored for health and safety purposes. About you We would love to hear from you if you possess the following: Awareness of Health and Safey Basic IT skills including Office 365 Basic communication skills High level of enthusiasm and motivation Excellent time management skills Ability to undertake CPD as part of your role Ability to work individually or within a team and foster good working relationships.
