Cleaner - Portland (part time)

Your role as a Cleaner:
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills who will take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas.
Based at Portland Building, duties will include the cleaning of wide range of areas and spaces and providing both general and specialised cleaning within the building and commercial outlets at Portland Coffee and Mooch Bar and providing excellent customer service at all times. This position entails providing both planned and reactive cleaning service across the building and supporting the local cleaning team with covering holidays, sickness, deep cleaning locking and unlocking doors and supporting various events which take place at Portland Building during both term time or out of term.
Previous cleaning experience gained within a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

This is a full time fixed term position with an end date set to be the 15 August 2025 - Hours of work are 36.25 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged (mainly Monday to Friday working between the hours 6.00am-2.15pm. Flexibility will be required.

Successful candidate is expected to attend statutory training courses which will run each day, Monday to Friday each month. Further details will be given at interview which will take no longer than 20 minutes.
