Our ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be organised and able to manage their own and their team’s workload, so previous experience as a Cleaner is essential. If you are the successful candidate, you will be responsible for some supervisory and administrative duties as well as ensuring that designated areas are kept clean and hygienic.

You will work 20 hours per week on a term time basis, Monday to Friday 2:45pm - 6:45pm.

What's on offer?

• 4-on 4-off
• 6am to 6pm
• £11.99 to £12.59 per hour - paid weekly

Your duties and responsibilities as an Industrial Cleaner will include, but not limited to:

• Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces
• Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels)
• Maintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessary
• Taking out the garbage
• Carrying out minor maintenance tasks such as replacing displaced toilet seats, unclogging sinks
• Conducting monthly disinfection and deep cleaning
• Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) and compliance with universal precautions.
• Cleaning industrial machinery
• General cleaning tasks as required

To be successful within this role you will ideally have previous experience in the same or similar hygiene/cleaning role, combined with: being able to work at height, move and lift heavy objects. And have an understanding of Health and Safety.

Please Note - Due to the location, having your own transport would be advantageous.
