To work as part of Housekeeping team within a clinical / admin and social care bases. To work in conjunction with the NHS National Standards of Cleanliness and be aware of requirements under COSHH, health and safety and control of infection as they affect the job. 3. Analytical and judgement skills Ensure daily cleaning schedule is completed in the agreed time scale and hygiene standards are met. Ability to work flexibly when required, inform supervisor of any incidents to ensure monitoring forms are completed. Report any issues of concern to supervisor and keep them regularly informed of service information. 4. Planning and organisational skills Inform supervisor of materials that are running low. Ensure area cleaned is down within time allowed to the high standard in line with NHS National Standards of Cleanliness, following the guidelines as set out in the daily schedules. 5. Physical skills Ability to undertake lightweight floor scrubs and use cleaning materials in accordance with COSHH. Ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with organisations waste disposal policy ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to. Ability to move cleaning equipment from one area to another. 6. Working conditions (refer to effort factor questionnaire) Occasional unpleasant smells / odours and the removal of unpleasant substances as and when required. A Live in Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by this wonderful family in St. Albans, Hertfordshire to care for their two children, a toddler and school-aged, and maintain the cleanliness of their home.
