Responsibilities:

• Ability to isolate & remove existing domestic kitchens, strip tiles and patch plaster, widen doorway into brick or stud walls, fit door linings, hang or rehang doors
• Fit a level access shower tray in concrete or timber floor including ability to 'noggin' between joists to suit tray size.

A Tier 1 Construction and civil engineering contractor are recruiting a General Foreman to work initially on a large civils and environmental project in the Poole area of Dorset.

This project will involve extensive earthworks, piling, small civils works, temporary works and will have a positive impact on the local ecology and the environment.

The successful candidate will have experience of delivering civil engineering projects.

You will be required to make decisions, motivate the team, and drive the project towards a timely and profitable finish.

Duties include:

• Assisting with the management of the site team
• Managing Foremen and the workforce
• Ordering plant, labour and materials
• Managing a number of specialist subcontractors to ensure that they are delivering works accurately and compliantly
• Leading toolbox talks, daily briefings and site inductions
• Working with the Site Agent and commercial team to raise early warning notices
