General Manager - Nuclear

What you'll be doing;
- Reporting to the Head of Decommissioning, you will be responsible for developing a sector-specific growth strategy, to developing our services with current and potential new clients.
- Actively engaging with clients to enhance the scope and scale of our service offer and develop technical solutions and technical content to support tenders and ongoing projects.
- Acting as the principal point of contact for the Celedon Alliance Agreement between Altrad Services Limited, KDC Veolia Decommissioning Services UK LTD and NSG Environmental LTD specifically developed for the Magnox's Decommissioning and Asbestos Removal (DAR) framework.
- Working across current and former licensed nuclear power stations, research reactors, nuclear fuel manufacturing and reprocessing, and facilities used for the storage of radioactive matter in bulk.
- Support client enquiries and formal tenders with technical documents relating to the Nuclear Sector and related projects.
- Review content relating to relevant Expressions of Interest (EOI), Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Request for Proposals (RFP)/Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation.
- Develop the sector team to ensure personnel have the training and mentoring to work effectively and in line with the sector growth strategy.
- Responsible for contributing to the bid kick-off and review meetings, developing winning themes and USPs for Nuclear Sector enquiries and tender submissions.
What we're looking for;
- An experienced decommissioning/demolition specialist with extensive knowledge of the UK Nuclear Sector.
- To hold or achieve as a minimum, national security check vetting clearance (SC Clearance) to be able to work with MOD sites.
- Be familiar with and have experience in dealing with and managing commercial contracts relevant to the UK Nuclear Sector and ideally a Member of the Nuclear Institute.
- A strong people leader to be able to develop and mentor.
- Familiarity with Nuclear Sector operations working within Nuclear Site Licence conditions.
- Ability to influence at all levels and communicate with technical and commercial reasoning.
