Opportunity
Adobe’s Professional Services team is looking for a Sales Director to lead a successful team of 6+ Services Sales reps in India. This Director is responsible for leading a team of professional services salespeople with market strategy, quota assignment, pipeline management, and expected attainment accountabilities. The Sales Director will coach and mentor the Professional Services Sales (PSSs) & Client Partner (CP) team to earn the role of trusted advisor through their work and the work of the Adobe Professional Services delivery teams. This leadership role will have a customer-facing element with an ability to tell and the Adobe story at an executive level and required to work across a matrixed organization to partner closely with License Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Success, and Consulting Delivery teams to lead them across the company and business goals.
What you need to succeed
- Total of 18+ years of industry experience and a minimum of 10 – 12 years of people manager experience in an enterprise-level software consulting or services sales role; this includes a proven record for attaining and exceeding annual quota across the defined metrics.
- Knowledge of enterprise software development lifecycle and the enterprise customer journey, from a service’s selling standpoint, is critical.
- Digital Marketing validated experience is helpful, as is knowledge of SaaS and Cloud-based offerings. Knowledge of large, global field organizations is required.
- Experience of working with leading enterprise organizations in India across verticals like FSI, Retail, Travel & Hospitality, e-commerce, and Automobiles.
- Experience of working with C-level execs across different enterprises and ability to coach the team to build CXO-level connects within their assigned patch
- Ability to travel up to 60% to attend customer calls, mentor and coach team member client interactions, and drive a sense of urgency to achieve close date commitments.
- Demonstrated consistent YoY quota overachievement.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and operate a structured team forecasting process.
- Possess strong solution sales and consulting business development with demonstrated ability to close business.
- Exceptional communication skills, integrity, leadership ability, executive presence, and work habits are required.
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA is preferred.
