Summary of the role
Treasury is seeking a Treasury Senior Associate to work as an integral member of the Corebridge Treasury team. In this role, they will be responsible for supporting treasury transformation initiatives and business processes; collaborating with key stakeholders to design and implement best-in class payment solutions, evaluate and leveraging industry innovations to maximize efficiency, controls and to exceed customers’ expectations.
About the role
Primary responsibilities include:
- Partner and collaborate with key stakeholders and industry partners to understand and define the payments strategy, process, and solutions.
- Drive the design and implementation of cash management solutions for all business segments of the company with focus on controls, efficiencies, and customer expectations.
- Support the treasury team in payment oversight, controls, issue investigation and resolution. Analyze risk events to explore opportunities for improvement.
- Provide subject matter expertise for the treasury and payment processes to business and IT leads.
- Maintain a strong relationship with financial institutions and consulting teams to advance the treasury initiatives and goals.
- Manage payment exceptions, escalate, and coordinate resolutions.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. An advanced degree or certification such as a CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) would be preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Treasury, Banking Services and/or Treasury Operations required.
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, manage expectations, and meet deadlines.
- Extensive knowledge of Treasury and payment industry products, best practices, and processes
- Self-starter and quick learner with excellent communication skills.
- Experience with change management or transformation initiatives
- Ability to analyze data and events with an attention to detail and focus on resolutions.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred technical skills:
- Payment settlement, workflow, lifecycle, and controls
- Working knowledge of payment clearing networks and payment formatting (XML ISO20022, BAI, SWIFT)
- Experience with treasury management systems; working knowledge of SAP S4/HANA
- MS Office Suite (particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)

For positions based in New York City the base salary range is $96,000 - $120,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we’re proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
