As a Senior General Radiographer at our Cambridge hospital, you'll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, you'll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately. You will demonstrate experience of at least 3 years working within general radiography with knowledge and understanding of Quality Assurance and clinical audit.
As a Senior General Radiographer, you will:

Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload - in the department, on the ward and in theatre

Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities

Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures

Supervise and develop junior colleagues

Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion

Take an active role in the administrative side of the departments in and outflow of images
