Pay Rate: Inside IR35, Monthly Pay: £2000+ per month

Shifts: 2 days, 2 nights, 6 off
Background Checks/Licenses : DBS Required & FLT License
Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge of general deliveries whilst using the forklift, including sand, ash, lime, carbon, and urea, managing the entire process from delivery to collection. Operate a forklift for unloading items and ensure timely communication to individuals about their deliveries, organizing items in their designated locations.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the site layout and systems, working closely with the Shift Operations team to contribute to operational and maintenance activities. Monitor and manage security systems, collaborating with site control personnel, Central Security Control Center, and emergency services during site emergencies.
- Maintain the day-to-day security of the site, welcoming and coordinating with visitors and contractors. Use your knowledge and experience to respond to safety, environmental, and plant emergencies promptly. Uphold safety standards and housekeeping within your areas of control, actively promoting a culture of safety within the team.
- Handle first-line maintenance tasks within your competency range and keep operational shift logs and databases updated. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and collaboration.
- Fulfil the roles of NCP and NS as defined by safety rules, showcasing your commitment to a safe working environment. Be prepared to take on any additional on-site duties as required by the Management, Engineering, or Operations teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication with all parties involved.
- IT literacy, proficient in email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and weighbridge systems for efficient data management.
- Excellent working knowledge of the facility's relevant processes and systems, demonstrating expertise in day-to-day operations.
- Robust understanding and awareness of environmental, commercial, and legal issues and their impact on plant operating conditions.
- Possession of a forklift truck and MEWP license, showcasing proficiency in operating essential equipment.
- Minimum of 12 months of experience operating within current safety, environmental, and operational policies, frameworks, and statutory legislation relevant to the role.
- Qualifications to ONC/NVQ level 3 in a related discipline or a willingness to work towards achieving these qualifications.
- Relevant, demonstrable experience in a similar role or industry, highlighting your expertise in the field.
- Working knowledge of current policies and procedures affecting the management of the site, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Ability to undertake all operational duties related to fuel deliveries and site security when required, showcasing versatility and commitment to the role.
