Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) has an exciting opportunity for a Nurse/Allied Health Professional to initiate, or further develop a career in clinical research. This role will enable you to develop your skills and knowledge in this proactive area of healthcare.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic Registered Nurse/AHP who is organised, self-motivated and aspires to further their acknowledge and career in Clinical Research. You will be involved in all aspects of the research process from study start-up, recruitment and delivery, to closure of a study. You will need to have an excellent level of written and verbal communication skills. Good IT skills and the ability to project manage and problem-solve in order to guide and support the team. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and recruit to studies.Critical Care or Rheumatology experience is desirable.

The role of the Research nurse/practitioner is to coordinate clinical research studies at HHFT. As a Research Nurse/practitioner you will be responsible for assessing and managing the care pathways for patients and carers participating in these trials, facilitating high standards of nursing care and promoting the continuity of care of patients involved in these trials.

Andover War Memorial Hospital (AWMH) provides community and hospital services including a minor injuries unit, outpatient clinics, diagnostic imaging, day surgery, rehabilitation and maternity services.
