Eastlight is actively looking for a passionate and skilled Carpenter to join our Trades Team on a Permanent basis.
The Role:
As a Carpenter at Eastlight, you will carry out maintenance and repair work in occupied residential properties including associated carpentry works such as wall tiling, plastering repair works, tank stands, bath panels and frame, floorboard repairs, boxing in pipe work, shelving and sealants. Our role is crucial in ensuring the health and safety of our residents, promoting our positive brand image, and improving the quality of our residents' homes.

What We Offer:
- Competitive Annual Salary: £34,302
- Contract type: Permanent, Full-time
- Tools Provided: Power tools + £75 annually towards hand tools
- Transportation: Company van & mileage provided
- Annual Leave: 30 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays
- Pension Plan: Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double up to 5% of the employee's contribution - Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%)
- Wellbeing Grant: £200 per annum – Subject to eligibility
- Family Leave: Trailblazing family leave (Maternity, Paternity, and Adoption – 12 weeks full pay / 6 weeks half pay) – Subject to eligibility

More About Your Day-to-Day:
- Perform maintenance and repair works on Eastlight properties
- Ensure all work meets the highest industry standards
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with residents about the work being carried out
- Collaborate with colleagues across Eastlight to provide exceptional service
Must-Haves:
- Clean UK Driving License
- City & Guilds or NVQ2 in Carpentry or equivalent demonstrable experience
