An exciting opportunity exists to appoint a substantive Trust Senior House Officer (CT1/CT2 equivalent) to the General Surgery department at our hospital. The successful candidate will be linked with elective breast surgery but there will be opportunity to rotate to other surgical subspecialties based on the candidates’ training needs.

The post will be fully integrated into the elective and emergency workload of the department. The successful candidates will be part of a 1:10 rota, covering emergencies in General Surgery and Urology.

On calls are supported by two F1’s during the day and one F1 at night; and one resident registrar on call on the site at all times The emergency take is supported by three consultants. One from the Emergency Surgical Assessment Unit, one Emergency theatre surgeon and one on-call consultant. All candidates must be eligible for registration with the General Medical Council. The Main duties of the post will involve seeing, diagnosing, and treating General Surgical patients, referring to other clinicians or general practitioners where appropriate and theatre. There will also be involvement in the management of the linked elective subspecialty patients. You will be responsible jointly with the Registrars for ensuring high standard of care is delivered to patients. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in HR or General Affairs.
• Proven knowledge of HR practices and general office administration.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and able to do multitask.
• Familiar with MS Office and HR software (e.g. HRIS) is an advantage. 
• Good command of English (spoken and written) and computer literacy.

Reporting to the Install Manager (or Install Supervisor in certain states), the Installer - Carpenter is responsible for delivering and installing appliances. With a steadfast commitment to Safety, Service, Cost, and Team.

What to expect on a day-to-day basis:

• Schedule arrival times with customers
• Measure and quote for appliance upgrades and cabinet adjustments during visits
• Install kitchen and laundry appliances (dishwashers, rangehoods, microwaves, fridges)
• Customise benchtops and cabinets for new appliances
• Dispose of old appliances and packaging
• Employ trade expertise to solve any issues for customer satisfaction

As part of our Cleaning Services Team, you will…

- Support the Cleaning Services Team Manager with all, planning, preparation and activity attributed to the day-to-day operation of the Cleaning Services department
- Support with stock management and orders, team rota’s, recruitment and team training, budget performance, safety and legislative compliance checks
- Ensure the delivery of a clean and safe environment for our Guests, monitoring daily service and tasks, responding to feedback and addressing areas for improvement
- This is a hands on, varied role where you will be out on Park but will also support with administrative tasks related to the role

Experience and Qualifications
You may already have experience within Cleaning or Facilities Operations which is great! All we are looking for is…

- Previous experience of working within a large team
- The ability to work at pace and under pressure whilst remaining organised
- Experience of planning and organising operational tasks, stock control and managing budgets
- Can confidently deal with Guest concerns with the ability to resolve problems, show empathy and understanding
