Your new role

As a Logistics / Operations Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of the logistics process. From a customer's initial request to the final delivery, you'll coordinate courier loads, manage key relationships with subcontractors and third-party providers, and ensure efficient, timely delivery of goods, all the while keeping your customers updated with delivery progress. You'll track shipments, solve any issues that arise, and make sure that each customer has a smooth, hassle-free experience. This role is perfect for a skilled multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a pivotal role in the growth journey of this company. What you'll need to succeed

• Logistics experience: Proven background in logistics, freight forwarding or transport planning.
• Exceptional organisation skills: Able to juggle multiple tasks and stay organised under pressure.
• Confident communicator: Skilled in building relationships and working with third parties.
• Excel proficiency: Confident using Excel spreadsheets for tracking and reporting.
• Courier Exchange Platform experience (ideal but not essential) familiarity with using this platform is a plus.

Working hours are 7.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday with a 30 minute daily unpaid break

Our client are looking for a temporary member of staff who can hit the ground running at this very busy period.
To apply for this role you must have Logistics, Export and SAP experience!!

Duties of the Logistics Coordinator include:

* Process orders in a timely and accurate manner
* Ensure communication targets to customers is achieved
* Processing orders with SAP
* Understand and navigate stock, order entry & dispatch screens
* Create Export documentation in systems
* Produce regular outstanding customer order reports as required
* Manage a complex dispatch schedule across 3 dispatch points
* Combining shipments where feasible from 3 locations
* Minimising cost to the business by effective management of logistics
* Understanding of export shipment terms
* Communication to key Stakeholders across 3 sites, managing 3 different dispatch/ production and manufacturing demands
* Weekly calls with key stake holders to ensure timely shipments
* Detailed review and approval of freight invoices

The ideal candidate will be hard working, have the ability to pick things up really quickly and not be worried to get stuck into the role. As mentioned above we can only consider candidates with Export experience as training on this isn't provided.

This is an extremely varied role within the organisation, presenting a mixture of tasks and duties alongside daily challenges, this role requires a person with excellent communication and organisational skills. As the business is now expanding and looking to hire on a full-time basis, this role is office based working hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

Your new role

As Logistics and Order Administrator your duties will include coordinating with logistics, process new sales and ensure smooth running's of imports and exports. Along with generating commercial invoices and working closely with stakeholders to facilitate timely and accurate completion of customs and export control filings. Collaborate with the Accounts and Warehousing departments to create weekly product lists and assist with all general administrative duties as directed by management.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in securing this position, you should have previous exposure to Import and Export duties, along with excellent attention to detail and able to work effectively towards tight deadlines. You must be confident liaising with different departments, therefore should have great customer service skills and an excellent telephone manner. This role requires a character who is easily adaptable, confident and enjoys problem solving.
