DUTIES:
Duty 1 - Provides assistance to APS senior ART in directing and managing the day-to-day activities of the Aerial Port Squadron.
Duty 2 - Manages the Aerial Port's Air Transportation Standardization/Evaluation (ATSEV) & Quality Assurance (QA) program.
Duty 3 - Directs and manages all Unit Type Code (UTC) qualification requirements and command directed aerial port systems.
Duty 4 - Develops and manages the unit annual training plan and executes Unit Training Assembly (UTA) schedule.

As a Logistics Management Specialist at the GS-0346-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:

• Serves as the senior Logistics Coordinator for the Defense Security Cooperation Service (DSCS) supporting all supply and logistics requirements for all global Security Cooperation Organization (SCO offices.)
• Employs broad understanding of the interrelation and integration among the principle logistics functions of supply, maintenance, transportation and distribution, aviation, fleet management, logistics services, and facilities management throughout the material life cycle in support of more than 140 SCO office supporting all Geographic Combatant Commands.
• Manages supply and inventory management, stockage criteria, storage and warehousing, personal property accountability, equipment management, demilitarization, property disposal, reutilization, loss and damage prevention and monitoring, integrated supply and logistics chain management.
• Serves as leading technical advisor and subject matter expert (SME) to DSCS managers and staff on all transportation and distribution management policy and program matters.

• Serves as a senior Military Service Logistical Representative, assigned to the one of the four Military Service aligned branches of the Program Management Division within the Facility Sustainment Directorate Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy.
• Manages, monitors, evaluates, and coordinates the execution of assigned Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM) programs.
• Responsible for the 'cradle to grave' management of all projects assigned. Serves as Outbound Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) Generator.
• Obtains MIPR Acceptance from customer and creates obligation in the Financial System.
• Ensures the compliance of functional and supporting organizations by establishing and monitoring milestones, performance criteria, goals and metrics.
• Determines work required to fully sustain, restore, modernize or demolish facilities based on the results of an SRM survey, the facility condition, projected requirements and needs of the Services.

2. Formulates squadron annual budget requirements and anticipated reimbursements for installation logistical services. Reviews and analyzes budget reports involving execution of direct and reimbursable funds and initiates corrective actions when problems are detected.
3. Oversees, coordinates, and directs activities relating to Commander's Inspection Program (CCIP) for unit compliance, government Quality Assurance, and Self-Assessment Program management.
4. Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the LRS and provides advice and guidance to the squadron leadership on business processes and performances. Develops, manages, and maintains the unit's readiness inspection program.
