You will be required to maintain and develop client relationships and deliver levels of service that consistently exceed the expectations of our guests. Main Duties-

• Carrying out a range of REN treatments to a high standard
• Maintain the standards of the Spa by supervising the team

About NELFTs Children & Young Peoples Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) NELFTs CYPMHS is for anybody aged between 0-18, living in Kent and is free at the point of entry. The service is also for young people with special educational needs (SEN) up to the age of 25. The CAMHS Tier II and Tier III services no longer exist, replaced with an integrated CYPMHS. Any young person experiencing emotional wellbeing or mental health problems, (or any parent, guardian, professional or teacher of a child who is experiencing emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties), may access our service. Structure of Children & Young Peoples Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) There is one Childrens Single Point of Access (SPA), a Neurodevelopmental & Learning Disabilities Service, eight Locality Teams, a dedicated crisis team and inpatient service based in Staplehurst These are located across Medway, Dartford, Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, South Kent (Folkestone & Dover), Thanet, Swale, and Ashford. This transformation of children and young peoples mental health services has a clinical focus, integrated with local authorities to deliver a long term collaborative approach to planning and delivering services. CYPMHS focuses on emotional wellbeing as well as mental health and includes access to self-help tools and services based in schools and the community. We are creating a modern service that fits with childrens lives in a way that best suits them. The Occupational Therapist will provide coverage of the services provided by Occupational Therapy within the scope of their grade level and in a career developmental position progressively expanding their ability to provide assessment and treatment interventions for a wider range of human function systems.

Occupational Therapists (OTs) at the GS-09 grade level serve as entry level OTs with a basic foundation of OT and typically have guidance from more experienced therapists. OTs that are not yet licensed must practice in the supervision of a Licensed OT.

Occupational Therapists at the GS-11 grade level serve as beyond entry level OTs but still in a career development position progressively expanding their ability to provide assessment and treatment interventions for a wider range of human function systems. The GS-11 OT is able to administer routine assessments but lacks the experience to adapt routine assessments when needed with complex individuals. The therapist has an expanding basic foundation of OT and generally practices independently. OTs at this level typically have guidance from more experienced therapists on complex patient or health systems.

The Occupational Therapist at the GS-12 level independently develops and implements individualized occupational therapy treatment programs for all patients referred for consultation. They work effectively with patients, families, care partners, and treatment team members. The incumbent is also responsible for coordination and supervision of treatment plans with the staff Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) if position exists. The therapist will coordinate and supervise students and volunteers that rotate through the OT section. The incumbent may assist with developing practices and procedures of occupational therapy services that are necessary to plan and direct the wide range of activities relating to the overall operation of an occupational therapy program in a Complex (1a), large, highly affiliated VA Medical Center.

At all levels, duties may include but are not limited to:

• Evaluates the veterans Occupational Profile providing an understanding of the client occupational history, experiences, patterns of daily living, interests, values, and needs, motor and process skills and communication/interaction skills. Qualifications and Training For Psychologists Post-graduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) or Counselling Psychology as accredited by the BPS &/or HCPC, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology. Post-doctoral training in the supervision of trainee Clinical Psychologists or Counselling Psychologists. HCPC Registration as a Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist. Post-doctoral training in a therapeutic approach (e.g. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) relevant to the psychological needs of medical patients. For Psychological Therapists A recorded/registered qualification in a core health or social care profession at graduate level (e.g. nursing, social work, occupational therapy) or have passed the Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes (KSA) pre-requisite criteria as recognised by the BABCP prior to undertaking the post-graduate training as a High Intensity Therapist.
