Responsible for negotiating and the procurement of good quality accommodation of suitable type, size and location across the private sector to meet the client’s duties to homeless households. These includes accommodation for use as emergency / long term / discharge of duty.

To procure accommodation if required for use by other client services responsible for the provision of accommodation to customers meeting qualifying criteria (i.e. careleavers, `no recourse to public funds’ households, etc.)

My client is an internationally renowned consultancy firm, who are delivering a critical programme of work for a client in the Nuclear domain, requiring BPSS clearance. You will need to have industry experience and vast expertise within GIS strategy and procurement to be considered for this role.

Key requirements:

• Demonstrable experience working as a GIS Consultant for large-scale public sector clients
• Technical Proficiency: Experience of implementing GIS Solutions, Mastery of ESRI software platforms, programming skills in languages like Python or SQL, experience with related spatial analysis tools, familiarity with COBie (Construction Operations Building Information Exchange) standards and understanding of integration with Siemens Teamcenter.
• Practical Experience: Involvement in GIS projects within nuclear construction or similar regulated environments, including internships and work placements.
• Regulatory Compliance and Safety Awareness: Knowledge and experience in adhering to nuclear safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Communication, Teamwork, and Industry Networking: Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams, a collaborative work ethic, a strong professional network within the GIS and nuclear construction sectors, with proficiency in Italian and/or French being desirable but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of various data formats, such as documents, requirements, multiple CAD formats, and contracts, and their configuration control within the context of a new build project.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
• BPSS eligible, or ideally SC cleared.

Nice to have:

• Experience of Nuclear, Manufacturing or Construction Industries.
• Familiarity with relevant Nuclear industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Degree in GIS, Geomatics or related fields, coupled with ESRI and industry-specific certifications in nuclear safety and regulations.
• Proficiency in Italian and/or French.
• Experience of Agile Delivery.

The role

As FCTGs global subject matter expert, this person will play an integral role in developing and maturing FCTGs procurement framework, sourcing strategies and third party risk management, in conjunction with other global risk specialists.

This role will focus on all non-travel procurement within the EMEA region, and work closely with the Global Supply teams (who manage all travel procurement) with respect to the procurement framework.

The role will report to the Global Head of Procurement based in Brisbane, and work closely with FCTGs CFOs and senior operational leaders to implement change and drive best practice for the Group.
