The Complex Rehabilitation Programme is part of the West Yorkshire Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism programme, which sits within the West Yorkshire Integrated Health and Care System (ICS). The project was defined as a priority because of the opportunity that exists to improve the outcomes and experience of service users. The initial aims were to develop an understanding of the needs of people placed in long-term, restrictive complex rehabilitation inpatient hospital settings.
This role will also have a clinical /therapeutic skill component supporting the Enhanced Clinical Review’s for people with both complex psychosis and complex emotional needs (CEN) alongside a Mental Health Nurse/Clinical Team Manger and a Consultant Psychologist. role will also be vital to bring the lived experience of people in hospital into the work on a hospital and supported housing model. As CEN pathway sits within the CREST umbrella service this will provide an opportunity to be part of the developing CEN team and be based at Newsam working with the existing CREST (Serious Mental Illness) Team as part of the enhanced reviews.
